Great location and beautiful property with nearby incredible views. The room had no microwave, which would have been nice. No breakfast included though there was a coffeemaker in the room. Comfortable bed, big tv.

This hotel is in a lovely location outside the town of Cambria. We went for a wonderful wedding on the grounds with the ocean in the background. kThe grounds are charming, and there are several seating areas around blazing fire pits. The hotel has a restaurant that looks pretty good, but we did not get to try it. When we checked in, we were informed that the restaurant would be closed the following morning because they were preparing for a wedding. What? They couldn't have even made coffee and sold muffins? Not everyone visiting for the wedding had transportation, and food delivery services don't seem to be active there. We TRIED to go to the restaurant the next day, but there was a more than 30 minute wait to get to the counter to place an order. The check-in desk was closed between 10 - 11pm, when many of the wedding guests would be arriving from the rehearsal dinner. We kept hearing they were "short staffed." I understand the hotel was recently sold to a corporation.....I guess they're doing a lot of cost cutting. I did see a housekeeper, but rooms are serviced every two days and we only stayed two nights. For the price I would probably stay somewhere else unless they increase their staffing.

The cutest place! Great location just down the street from main Cambria. Had the cutest courtyard with fireplaces, lawn games and cute bistro lights. There is a little outlook area to watch the sunset. Absolutely loved it here! Will be back for sure :)

Love the location. Love the outdoor common area with fire features, games for everyone to enjoy. Check in was great. Bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. It should be noted that there is no air conditioning in these units. We didn’t need it but you should be aware.

Didn’t feel comfortable having it open while showering thus moisture buildup on ceiling. There is evidence of moisture behind the paint which leads to damage and potentially mold issues.
Bathroom has been updated and looks nice.

We did enjoy the property and would recommend for families.

Terrible old uncomfortable mattress , dark rooms, asked the cleaning stuff to come by and clean our room and refill shampoo, to find out it didn’t happened.no worth the money for sure. So many better choices around.

This property was a good motel. Nice decor but fell short in the very average finishes in the bathroom. And the room itself needed more lighting and more places to hang towels as we are a family of 4. The room also needs a mirror in addition to the one in the bathroom. The property had nice outdoor space with fire pits and corn hole but we didn’t have time to enjoy it.
Definitely go to the Moonstone bar and grill for dinner. We had great food and service and the best margarita. We did have to wait 45 minutes for a table but it was worth it.

This was once our favorite place to get out of town with our dogs! We visited this weekend for the first time in 3 years and were very disappointed. The room was quite dirty, dog hair all over the floor (which didn’t bother us since we brought our dogs - but might not be good for others). The bathroom has a very strong odor of chlorine and the water burned my eyes, no fault of the hotel, just something to be aware of. The most upsetting thing after walking around the property with our pups for a few hours was the amount of stickers stuck in their paws. We didn’t realize it until we got back to the room but they both had 10 stickers we had to pull out of their feet, very painful. Every time we left the room we spent lots of time pulling stickers out of their paws. Very disappointing for a pet friendly property to neglect their landscaping this way by not taking care of the weeds that cause stickers. If we had visited without dogs, this review would have been 4 stars. But for a pet friendly property to cause my dogs physical pain due to neglecting their landscaping was very sad. We won’t be back.
