They tried to put us on top floor when there was no lift, that was hard work, firstly refused our request to be moved to lower floor but was only when we said,” well have to go somewhere else”” that they miraculously had another room for us. There was a couple of long strands of black hair to greet us in the bath & extremely loud from the street below. Staff were nice enough. You do have to pay for parking here

The walls are too thin to give anybody a good night sleep if you are unlucky like us to have one one side, a neighbour who coughs every 30 seconds, and on the other side, a couple of ladies who spend the evening arguing.
For 100 euros and the price of a taxi, you can go to a suburban boutique hotel and have a luxury night. I think that it is worth it. Cheap is cheap. And 65 euros is not even that cheap. Sorry.

Very close to train station and town Centre. Helpful friendly staff and typical morning breakfast. No elevator to 4th floor. Cramped bathroom , no functioning TV remote.

Hotel was welcoming and offered good value. Unfortunately the room didn’t look like the pictures when the reservation was made.

If youre into plain ,formal the usual hotel then this place is not for you .Ive stayed here three times from NZ because the love the old unchanged decor ,the creaky stairs ,no lift and i was up the 3rd story .The shower which is tiny and the small room .I just love this place .Location across the road from the Gare and taxis .10 minutes to centre of historical Arras and shopping . The staff were the same and Lille is so friendly and helpful ,dont believe he doesnt speak English ,is a front .The food is delicious ,cheap and filling .Beers are std fare but if you want a large beer prepare to dig in for the night . Overall id always go back if you like your WW1 history ..
