I recently stayed at this hotel in Italy, and it was, without a doubt, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The property is nothing like the images shown online – they completely lied about everything. First, the room was tiny and dirty, with a broken bed that caved in the middle, making it impossible to sleep. The bathroom was even worse, featuring a portable shower that looked like it was hastily installed in a closet. The entire place was in disrepair and felt more like a low-budget hostel than the charming hotel they advertised. The “ocean view” they claimed? Completely obstructed, nothing like the images I saw during booking. I even chatted with the hotel beforehand to confirm that the room I booked was the one advertised, and they assured me it was. That was a blatant lie. The worst part? The noise outside was unbearable. We couldn’t sleep at all with constant loud disturbances throughout the night. I was so frustrated that we left after one night, but when I asked for a refund, the front desk staff had the audacity to say, “In life, sometimes we don’t get what we want.” I was in disbelief. This level of rudeness and disregard for guests is unacceptable. I demand a refund, but based on my experience, I’m not holding my breath. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. It’s a scam.

Everyone we encountered, front desk/breakfast - were lovely. Could not do enough for us wonderful cappuccino and location. Short walk from train & "old Town".

We enjoyed staying at this hotel very much. There is a car park just across the street that you can leave your car in for as many days as you need without having to move it or pay each day. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was efficient and our room was superb. We reserved a double room with a balcony, so it was a lovely way to spend the late afternoon with a glass of wine and good book after spending the day at the beach and before dinner. The beach is just a short 2 min walk and the old town is a 10 min stroll.

Our room was spacious and clean, but shabby, basic - with leaking toilet, shower was cramped, and drying rack did not work. The window overlooked side of the downstairs patio restaurant. VERY noisy till 11 pm with the parties going on and the kitchen noise. Disappointing; not restful. Breakfast buffet was nice and staff serving was very helpful and friendly. Would not recommend nor stay again.

We had a large sea view room with 2 balconies (seaside and not seaside) that was quite nice, with it even having 2 refrigerators. The grounds also had a nice shaded and gardened restaurant, where you could have quite a nice included buffet breakfast. And of course the beach was right there. We were very happy to have stayed!

Everything in the room was broken. the TV, the bathroom lights, the shades for the windows. alright...everything is dramatic, but still...gotta be better places.

The AC would make a squeaking sound every 15 seconds so had to shut that at night in order to be able to sleep. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything happening in the hallways.. especially other rowdy guests coming in at 1 am. Stay in the old town instead everything is a maximum 10 minute walk so don’t stay here just for convenient location.

Lovely hotel along the Mediterranean Coast! Our room was charming with a Terrace. The location is also close to the public parking lot! We wish we knew the train station was so close, because it was expensive to rent a car from Florence! Next time, we will take the train :)

The hotel staff is helpful with all of our requests, allowed us to store our luggage before check-in time and gave us an overview of the town and restaurant recommendations. Monterosso is not a large town so everything is within walking distance and this hotel is close to the beach. There is a little deli-grocery store next door that can make you a sandwich to go. The hotel is clean and efficient.

Perched just alongside the beach, it offers breathtaking views of the iconic Cinque Terre coastline. Additionally, the easy access to the town's charming center made it an ideal base for exploring this picturesque and unforgettable village. After a long day sightseeing or relaxing, I looked forward to returning to the hotel's cozy bar. The bartenders were true mixologists, crafting creative cocktails using local spirits and fresh, seasonal ingredients. The bar's outdoor and rooftop terraces were perfect to unwind with a glass of wine and watch the sunset or soak in the Monterosso energy. Overall, my stay was absolutely wonderful. The combination of the attentive staff, unbeatable location, and fantastic bar made it a truly memorable experience. I can't wait to return and recommend this accommodation to all.
