The staff here is always so nice.

There is more than one La Quinta hotel in Victoria. This is the one I recommend. Always clean. Always a good breakfast. Reasonable pet fee. Desk clerk has list of restaurants that delivery if you don't feel like going out after a long day on the road or there's fast food across the street.

Our stay was very upsetting, we had to change rooms because our sofa bed and the mattress on it was so dirty. They did offer us a small discount and new room the next day or a refund all together. We opted for new room since it was past midnight. The next room we got was a little better. The pillows are not comfy at all. The staff was friendly, but wouldn’t recommend.

Unfortunately the upstairs clients decided to walk around until after midnight, can't imagine what could have kept them that busy. My room was extremely humid. I don't like it that cold so maybe that contributed to the dampness, even the tiled floor seemed to be very slippery.

Tons of maintenance needs to be done. Torn carpet, broken doors. Construction people staying there are allowed to park their trucks and trailers in the breeze way. This place is a disaster. I will never stay here again.

When we arrived the frint desk was very not maintain a professional appearance. We went to the first room assigned and found the door open. When we went in the smoke detector was removed and sitting on the dresser. The elevator was not working on our floor. The room was clean, but not very well. The hotel has potential, but these few things need addressed.
