It was our first trip to Lake George and we are so happy we picked Scotty’s! It was such a pleasant stay and we truly enjoyed ourselves. We will be back and will recommend to all of our friends and family. It was worth the 4 hour trip from Jersey.

Bed cover sheets were dirty, with a lot of hair. The beds were so squeaky and the pool was so salty with urine. It seemed that it did not have chlorine. I like the easy parking and safety.

Scotty’s does an absolutely incredible job with the entire grounds. The rooms are clean and kept up. The grounds were incredibly maintained and clean. Loved the snack bar, excellent breakfast. My son loved the arcade. We’ll be staying there next year for sure.

room was small with no extras , not even a luggage rack had to put suitcase on floor, bathroom sink under toiletries shelf could not wash you face with out hitting the shelf , overall for the price over $300 a night go elsewhere!!!!!

Great weekend! A lot to do!

Scotty’s has a beautiful big beach area

Positives: Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Pool was clean and the cafe was convenient. Cons: The lake was filthy. Duck excrement was floating everywhere, I could not let my child swim so the allure of being on the lake left much to be desired. Rooms smelled of mildew and tub was visibly unclean.

This place exceeded my expectations. Everything you could want is on the property and the location to town is unbeatable. Can’t wait to book for next year!

Very family friendly

A perfect place to take your family everyone was very polite both staff and guests. The on-site café provided wonderful options for a quick quick bite to eat. And it was fairly walkable to the downtown area. Awesome atmosphere and we intend to go back on a yearly basis.

Very fun vacation spot. Plan on returning. A couple opportunities for improvement: People put towels out in the morning and hold tables/chairs/cabanas for hours and hours on end so that no one can use them, yet they are nowhere in site. It’s extremely rude and the property doesn’t monitor at all. One of the beds in our room was full of sand. The beds were also very old and uncomfortable, so much that we had to switch rooms or our vacation would have been ruined bc we could not sleep without rolling into each other. The steps to the rooms are extremely steep and worn and could afford to be fixed up. Otherwise it is super fun property with a lot to do. Banana chocolate mudslide was great.

Was totally expecting a view of the lake as shown in the pics of the room when reserved. Was at the very top of the property with absolutely no view of anything. Can tell the age of the property. And none of their dining options were open while we were there. Room was musty and the small A/C could not keep up to keep the room cool. Did have alot of nice amenities to play and use on the property other than food like volleyball, corn hole, pool, fire pits, etc.
