A nice room partially overlooking the harbour (the roof of the neighbouring building blocked half the view). Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The location was perfect for wandering around the downtown.

We like this property in St.John's as it is within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The harbour view was excellent to watch the working boats along with the huge cruise ship that came to dock in the morning.

This hotel is a convenient walk from downtown St. John's. The facilities are solid but the highlight is the staff -- incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

My husband and I enjoyed being at the hotel, with an incredible water view which allowed us to see incoming boats/ships. The hotel was convenient for what we wished to do and when we wanted to travel beyond the area we went on tours and took taxis ... with our car parked in a designated area. Rather than lose our 'spot' ... we took alternate transportation. The hotel was terrific ... hospitable staff, clean, etc. Enjoyed our visit.

My only complaint would be about the breakfast. Our server forgot to bring spoons and cream for our coffee. Worse still was the actual breakfast. I ordered the Newfoundland breakfast. It was supposed to come with eggs, fried bologna, hash browns, a fish cake, toutons, and baked beans. I was only initially given the eggs, bologna, and hash browns. I had to ask for the toutons, baked beans, and fish cake These all came separately after as if they forgot them in the order and only after I asked about them. Needless to say, we never dined at the hotel restaurant again.

Beautiful hotel, with a beautiful view every morning during breakfast. Food was great, easy walking distance to main area of downtown, close to signal hill. Would recommend to anyone.
