The owner was very nice. It was clean. Quiet. Walkable to the tourist area.

We stayed at the Picket Fence for 4 nights. Sue and her husband were great host and showed a lot of pride in their property. We felt very safe and relaxed at the Picket Fence. Although it is an older building it is well maintained and very clean. We would definitely stay there again.

The host, Sue, could not have been more gracious and informative about things to do in St Andrews. The room is basic and clean with an updated bathroom. It was smaller than I expected The real downside was the odour. Not dirty but damp & musty. It was really off putting for me.

Great location, cleanliness, good service

It is an older motel, but it was clean, newly painted, smelled good, beds were excellent. It was a quiet evening and the guest gather on the lawn under the apple trees and talked to each other.

It was a great stopping place. The manager on duty was helpful and friendly.

Loved this place. Susan was a welcoming host and took care of us from even before we arrived with a call to check that we were on our way (Digby ferry ran a little late). She gave us a recommended route across the border for the following morning. We were sorry we didn't have time to stay another day and explore. The beds were the most comfortable of all the hotels we stayed in the Maritimes on our ten day journey.

Great location, the room was big, clean, big bathroom, all the necessities provided. Sue, the host, was the most amazing and kind host yet. Because we were running late, she called us first to make sure we are okay, and secondly to advise us to stop somewhere on the way to have dinner before checking in, as all the restaurants in the area were already closed. Upon our arrival she was welcoming, made us feel important and valued. We were there one night only.

There was no room cleaning or offer of fresh towels or coffee refills. The location is good.

The room was clean and had everything we needed. Check in and out was easy and the owners were helpfull with information about the area. Enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.

Great stay as always. Owners on site to help with questions. Rooms are on the small side, but very well cared for. New shower and tub. Lovely picnic tables and fire pit for guests use.

Loved this motel. Nice, clean and quiet. The owners were so nice. There was air conditioned, a fridge, a tv. Will go back for sure.

A microwave would have made the stay perfection. But that’s me. Otherwise it was a perfect stay
