Perfect place to stay in Florence. Beautiful rooms, comfy beds, convenient location.

No one there for checkin, no key, took 2.5 hours to get to room. Room was not what was booked. Photos wrong, room smelled of damp/ sewer. Bathroom was seperate down corridor, ac was noisy and leaked water over floor.

WARNING: Do NOT drive here with a car unless you have a permission from the city! The location is INSIDE a "Zona Traffico Limitado". If you enter with a vehicle without permission, you may have to pay a three-digit-fine. The hotel is listed with "parking available". So, we assumed parking was available and drove here by car. As stupid tourists, we had no idea about the ZTL and after a long drive, we most probably entered the restricted area by driving to this hotel. We're currently waiting if we receive a fine or not. Anyway: The hotel should not have listed themselves as "parking available", which is by the way not at all the case. It's impossible to park here unless you have made a reservation in a completely separate garage. There was no information about the parking upfront, no warning, no guideline, no nothing. So, we were driving around for two hours and parked a good 20 minute walk away. Great, what a failure. But that wasn't all: The reception was NOT available even though it was listed as available. We arrived at closed doors. A "random" guy let me in after no one answered the door bell, and in hard-to-understand english explained that I can take an envelope with a key and go to the room. No ID asked, no checkin procedure. Next morning, we were supposed to checkin. The lady seemed rather uninterested. At the morning of the leave, we received the info that the reception was closed the day before at 5pm. What a failure. Top 3 WORST hotels I've ever had.

I wanted a budget room near the city center so I knew there would not be many amenities. The bed was comfortable, the a/c worked, and there was an elevator. The location was right across from the Pitti Palace and there were plenty of good restaurants nearby.

The location was perfect for us!! The Altrarno is a lovely neighborhood and close to the center for Firenze. Being right in front of Pitti Palace was a treat. Many restaurants and shops nearby as well. It was very hot the week we stayed so the AC was not enough to beat the heat. A minor inconvenience. The room and shared bathroom were clean and nice.

Shared bathroom and very minimal ( spartan) room. The elevator is from a 1930’s era and will barely accommodate one person and one piece of luggage. The location is fabulous across from the Palazzo Pitti and just down the via from the Punta Vecchio. Street restaurants are plentiful.

Stayed at this property for two nights whilst exploring Florence, it is located right opposite the Pitti Palace which lots of restaurents along the road for easy access to dinner/breakfast. We found the location perfect is it across the city from the station but walkable in 20 mins, and two minutes from the Ponte Vecchio - lovely location for Piazza Michelangelo and the Boboli gardens and the across the city to see all the sights without being in too busy an area. The room was perfectly suitable for a two night stay with a comfy bed and bathroom facilities, a little balcony and very authentic italian living, it does not have a hotel feel - the entrance is on the main street so easy to find when you know what to look for (Look for the Door Number 8 and press the buzzer for the reception). Use the crazy little lift to access reception on floor 3 and then your room. The area felt safe to walk around in the evening. I do not think it would be as suitable if travelling with children or if you are looking for an upmarket hotel feel, but for adults and couples if you are looking for a cute place for a few nights with a true Florence experience then i would recommend this place,

About 20min walk to train, close to shopping and all that you need is near. Bathroom shared with other tenants down the hallway which was a little busy in the evening when getting ready for bed and showering. Overall good place to stay. Very good about holding our luggage for a bit after we checked out which was very convenient.

The hotel is very European and has antique charm. The elevator is very tiny and only works with folding doors closed. Only one person at a time with luggage can fit on it. The manager Huliette was awesome and very accommodating.

It was ok but there’s an Italian lady at the reception that was super rude, didn’t let us use the toilet or call an Italian company at the airport, very rude with us unfortunately.

We then went for dinner hoping the air conditioning would alleviate the heat and smell. Upon return, no improvement. Reported to reception and corporate WhatsApp, no solution. Entire stay 25+ ° C and mold smell.

Great location and friendly staff. We didn’t notice that we booked shared bathroom. That was honestly our mistake, but when we asked to switch room to one with a private bathroom they were super helpful. The hotel is shabby, and not very nice, visually, inside. But great location.

I liked that the room and bathroom were clean and the place is quiet to rest. But I definitely would not consider this place as a hotel, as there is no customer service at all. You only have one front desk staff from 9 am to 5 pm, so if you need anything after those hours, you are on your own. The hallways, stairs and whole place were very dark, the elevator old and if something were to happen to you, there is no one to reach or call. I didn't like the experience here at all, and I wouldn't repeat it again nor would recommend it.
