Nice hotel with public bar all good

This hotel was very disappointing. Our room looked nothing like any of the photos online, it was run down, the towels had dirty brown marks on them, the tiles round the bath were gritty and moldy, the room smelt musty, the bed sheets were stained, the water pressure for the shower was non existent. The breakfast was very limited in options. And we had to pay a £200 deposit on top of our room rate during check in which was not mentioned anywhere during booking the accommodation. The room was not worth the price paid, in fact I would say it was worth half what we paid! Very disappointed and we will not be returning, we are also still awaiting our £200 deposit refund even though the receptionist said it would be instant!

Arrived late and early start. No issue to have an early breakfast. Staff were extremely helpful. Recommended.

Super friendly check in by the receptionist. Thank you for the warm welcome and helpful info. Room was as described but quite warm even with the window open. And room 201 is above the bins so you might hear them being filled until 1130pm on a Saturday night of the window is open.
