We booked 2 double bed rooms for 2 nights. Upon checking in, the hotel stated we could not have double beds because they were no longer available. They only had king singles. We had to book 2 more rooms costing over $422 additional dollars.

I have stayed at other Tru Hotels, and this location was not as nice as the others. Rooms seemed smaller. Shower was awful because of horrible water pressure and strange placement of shower head. Breakfast was subpar compared to other Tru Hotels. Pancake machine was broken and was lacking other food items. Kids were running up and down hallway and yelling at 11pm with staff not concerned.

Rooms are terribly small and the tvs don’t work if there is rain.

No maids on the weekend. Meaning we had to ask for clean towels. The front desk acted like we were asking for something special.

I chose this hotel due to being “pet-friendly” as I was traveling with my mini Aussiedoodle and check-in was smooth and wonderful-the front desk clerk was so polite and kind. I read the pet policy and abided by the hotel’s rules that specifically stated that my dog could not be in the pool area or the breakfast area. I needed to get some work done, so my dog laid at my feet as I sat in one of the work nooks in the lobby. At no time was I told my dog was not allowed there-all the employees raved over him. That evening, we went for a walk, upon returning, I walked into the lobby and was told by the evening clerk that my dog was not allowed in the lobby-even though he was on a leash and is well-trained. Feeling upset about this but not wanting to cause trouble we went up to our room. The following morning, I entered the lobby-not the breakfast area, with my dog, leashed, and sitting at my feet and was told by the front desk clerk that the only place my dog is allowed is in my room and he was not allowed due to animal temperament and allergies. This is not documented in the hotel’s pet policy and I do not believe that this makes this hotel “pet-friendly” either. What is the expectation? That my daughter and I run down for a cup of coffee, that is kept in the lobby, not the breakfast area and leave the dog alone in the room? I am very disappointed knowing I had two completely different experiences. There is a lack of communication and knowledge here among staff-I will not return.

It was Awesome in every area. The staff was the best we have ever seen including the Ritz Carlton. I wish the marriott would try to hire staff like this hotel then I would feel better stay at there. Excellent stay!!!

Second rate in most every regard except cost which was the same as more modern hotels in the area. It's most favorable asset is that it is handy to the limited business area.
