Things to like - location is close to petite taxi and near the top of the Medina which in Fes is important because it's built on a hill.
The official guide recommended was decent but still took you to the rug shops etc even after saying no thanks.
The manager is pretty good and helpful as is the night manager, but doesn't speak much English which wasn't an issue. The day person is less helpful. Laundry, was more expensive than in Europe, and they separated whites and charged for two loads, and they didn't come back very clean.
They provided breakfast to go on the day we left early.
We would say it's an average stay that's got a good location for easy in and out access.
Didn't get a chance to try the pool, but the AC worked well.
Note that all of the rooms have the bathrooms and the bedrooms on different floors within the same room. Ours had a low clearance door which I hit (6') maybe 5 out of 10 times, mostly at night.
The bathrooms are decent. In Morocco, already remember to open the floor drain in the shower or it will fill up, which no one told us.
The double beds are very firm. If you have the 3rd person bed is soft, because it's actually a couch.

Riad was very quaint, staff were really good and caring and ready to help. Breakfast options were not great but it was ok for us as we are poor eaters. Parking is not available onsite had to do street parking and paid 40dhs for 2 nights. When we went to check out we were told that stay has to be paid by cash and we didn’t plan for that so had to look for local ATMs to get the money to pay. Location of property is great as we could walk everywhere. I would highly recommend this place

This is the best Riyadh that I have been in over five visits to Morocco. The Riad has excellent staff who are genuinely interested that you have a good trip. The food is first class Moroccan ,prepared in a clean hygienic kitchen. so we had zero tummy bug anxiety. we highly recommend it and will visit again

We had the pleasure of staying in this Fiad this past weekend. It was advertised as a three bedroom deluxe suite. I was sharing it with friends. Once we arrived, we were told that that room was not available. They don’t have anything that is three bedrooms. We were a little off put because we had done a lot of research and looked at the pictures of the three bedroom suite.
Myriam and staff, however, bent over backwards and was able to accommodate us into a different suite. They did not charge us extra and made sure our stay was comfortable. They also arranged a guide for us to see the Medina as well as a day trip the next day to, see Meknes and Volubilis.
It’s a lovely property with an even more lovely staff.

Amazing riad with very cool owners. We arrived late and left after breakfast, but sure had a great experience. Rooms are very cool. Wonderful for families. Our family booked 4 rooms for 9 people but cold have used just 3. Breakfast was lovely in the gorgeous courtyard and there is a small pool (really for children). Wish we could have stayed two nights.

Very traditional and in a gorgeous old home. Extremely narrow and steep stairs for all. No parking.

We stayed as a family of 4 with a young child for 3 nights. The place is very authentic and clean. It is located very central in the old town and Medina, just a short walk to the Blue gates (Bab Boujloud). The staff are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. They helped organise a local tour of Fez plus airport transfers. Pool is a little too cold for winter (it is not heated), but one not to miss is the top balcony, as it is very relaxing and provides a nice view of the city. Thoroughly recommended.

Absolutely loved it! The Riad is beautiful and in a great area to access the surrounding Medina. Staff was amazing and helped us with anything we asked (thanks Miriam!). To top it off the dinner we had there was also incredibly good. - Mischa from CA

The riad is well-situated and clean, but a bit dated. No hose for toilet which is surprising for Morocco.
Staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good. Dinner also - much better than other roads around and they have wine.

Amazing 700 year old Riad in the Médina close to the Blue Gate. Very attentive staff- not hard to find but they will guide you when you arrive. Breakfast served each morning and you can choose to have dinner as well ( we did not). They have red & rose wine by the bottle for purchase which is nice. Breathtaking architectural detail and atmosphere.

The riad is gorgeous and incredibly clean. The staff - especially Imame, Meriam and Ziane - are amazing! If you are able to have dinner at the riad - highly recommend it, as you will not be disappointed. They also booked a guide for us and she was wonderful.
