This is a beautiful hotel. The interior design reminded me of European hotels but with spacious rooms and very modern amenities. In the room, the TV was in the footboard. Neat.

Hotel was' ok'. Check-in staff not very helpful. No closet or place to hang your clothes (what's with that ! ) Convenient to walk downtown area and we finally figured out the parking after driving around a bit.( Interesting TV /hidden in foot of bed w/button on the foot board. )

Romantic night away for our anniversary. The room was great! Bed was super comfortable. We also enjoyed great drinks at the bar.

The lobby was beautiful. When I checked in, I was the only one at the desk. The gal was looking down at her computer. Never acknowledged me. Then without saying anything like “I’ll be right with you” she went back behind in the office and came out 2 minutes later. Still didn’t acknowledge me. Finally after about a minute she looked up. I had to tell her I was checking in. Couldn’t find my reservation until the 3rd time I told her my name. Hotel was not busy. Never saw anyone else in the elevator or hallways. We were put on the 4th floor, all the way down at the end of the hall, in the corner room, looking over a roof. The room was quite small. The bathroom was clean and updated but tiny. Our beds had tall footboards, my husband is 6’5”, so that was uncomfortable. The room was very stuffy and when we turned the fan or AC on it smelled of horrible mold and sounded like an airplane. The fan in the bathroom had chunks of lint and dirt hanging from it. There was an empty beer bottle under one of the chairs, left behind by previous guest. On site free parking. Just not impressed with overall stay.

Historic hotel fully restored with black marble floors, comfortable room & bed, comfortable furniture, free parking, overhead rain forest type bathroom shower, immaculately clean (room, hallways, elevator & lobby), friendly staff & rich flair of the past hotel glory from 1913. Shall stay here again. A delightful change & surprize from todays chain hotels. My wife & I took a unknown risk to stay @ Retlaw for tge first time and were rewarded with a very fine, enjoyable, relaxing & interesting stay. For us it is now a hotel destination to return to (maybe for our upcoming 41st anniversary) with a rich historical past to relish and immerse ourselves in again. This is a hotel jewel. :-)

The DreamCloud bed was one of the most comfortable bed that we have ever slept on. My soon to be mother-in-law said that she wanted to take the bed home. Our dinner at their restaurant was delicious! We had several courses and it was all cooked to perfection.

The place is nice, old hotel in excellent condition, housekeeping was very very poor… stayed 2 days and no soap on the dispensers, called twice and finally they sent someone with disposables… good parking, good beds, nice experience

Nice very clean friendly people

It was a lot of fun to stay in a historic property (haunted, according to the internet), with a much swanker atmosphere than we are used to. The beds were fluffy, and our daughter was amazed by the robes. However, the air conditioner was about as loud as an airplane taking off, so we didn't sleep all that well.

We really loved this hotel! The room was exactly as advertised. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Loved the TV hidden in the footboard. The lights under the bed were great for middle of the night bathroom runs. And the robes were wonderful. Definitely thrilled with the value for the price. Wonderful job with the remodeling at keeping the 20’s era feel. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the air conditioner was loud. But once we got used to it, it wasn’t so bad. We would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend!
