The Hostel is within 10 min walk of Plaza del Sol. The check-in was easy (note - very small elevator). The room was a single room and very basic w/o a view - I assume that is standard for a hostel. The room smelled like cleaning products and had no dirt.

The room was very small. In fact the wardrobe door didn’t open completely because it banged into the television. Also, there was no control for the heat/ac unit. Given those conditions, it certainly wasn’t worth the price I paid.

Absolutely horrible, the room has strong smell of cigarettes like people having a huge smoking party in it. I stayed 3 nights with windows open and sprayed air fresh lots of times, still can’t get rid of the smell. Even I hang my washed underwear in the bathroom and my underwear smells like cigarettes. The soap stand was dirty also. Full of dust.
Location is perfect tho, and the receptionist was nice.

Hundreds of bars/restaurants in the area. Truly kind, pleasant, and helpful staff and management. Highly recommended--a bargain for its cleanness and location. If I can suggest a further improvement, management may want to direct cleaning staff and guests to limit the noise in the early morning (specially on weekends). Overall, thank you, Hostal America!
