Rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly. Enjoyed the firepits at night. Bonus last night was fireworks over the lake. Parking is tight, but on par with most of the other hotels. Find a good spot, stay in place, and walk.

Great location, very walkable to stores, restaurants and sites of interest. Best part is the Lake Motel is right on the lake. Loved the patio with the firepits, that really enhanced our stay. Rooms are a little narrow but was fine for overnight stay.

We stayed for 3 nights. It was an enjoyable trip. The room was overall good, the bed is on the softer side and isn’t conducive to all bodies. The rooms are also a little small which isn’t a draw back per se but it does feel crowded and cramped by day two. The pool was wonderful. The pool deck, patio and dock areas over the water were the highlights of the hotel. Fire pits at night were a good touch and the staff was super friendly and made sure to light them nightly. The parking situation for this trip in early September, was okay. The spots are small and along the fence so a passenger has to get out before you park, or you just hangout of the space a bit. When there are other larger vehicles there it’s even more difficult park. We were lucky this time of year was less busy, so we always got parking near the room, but i could see how this would be a huge issue in the summer. Be warned the slop from the pool up the hotel is steep so be prepared if your room is not near the pool area. In a great area near all the things and restaurants you’d want to be near. Staff was excellent in all encounters with them and overall i had a lovely time and really enjoyed my days out by the pool and on the lake.

We have stayed there multiple times. The staff is always very friendly. The pool is heated and very clean. There's a two tier deck on the water with beautiful views. The cost is very reasonable compared to some of the other surrounding places.

We loved the lake hotel it was walking distance to all shops and restaurants.The hotel workers and the front desk were very helpful.The only bad thing was room 15 the generator from the other hotel is right in back of bathroom window so it was very loud and the fumes came in through the bathroom cause the power went out which was not the hotels fault. We will be back again great hotel and location .

We had a Wonderful Stay at The Lake Motel. The owner, Steve and the entire Staff are extremely accommodating and friendly making for a very pleasant experience. The service is outstanding as they go above and beyond offering magnificent views of Lake George, lovely well appointed rooms, free kayaks & a heated pool with the property located right in town. The Lake Motel is the Best Place to stay when in Lake George!

Had a nice fall getaway in this great little spot in Lake George Village. Friendly staff. Clean room. Awesome view of the lake - especially recommend view of the sunrise just steps from your room. Be aware of parking and while rooms are smoke free, the property is not. Could still smell neighbors smoking cigarettes outside on porch.

Parking is a huge issue here……there was problems with internet and cable……the lake side decks are really nice and the outdoor fireplace is beautiful

We planned a last minute get away to Lake George for the night and decided to stay on the water in the village so we'd have an easy walk to the upper part of the strip. Check in was freindly and straight forward. Lobby had coffee/tea and lots of info on local attractions and places to eat. Rooms must have been recently renovated. They were lovely, neat and pretty comfortable. Though it was a rainy weekend, there were plently of fun spots to visit with views of the lake.
From the walk we took out onto the uncovered patios and the dock area, it looks like a great place to enjoy the lake on warmer days and very suitable for all ages.
It was a very easy walk to many of the traditional Lake George attractions. Can't wait to go back for a longer stay.

We were looking to just get away for the day and decided to come up to Lake George. Unfortunately, most of the stores along the strip don't stay open very long midweek. The room here was spacious and quite comfortable. The folks at the front desk where quite welcoming. I would certainly come back again.

We absolutely LOVED the staff at The Lake Motel. We will most certainly be back. They keep the grounds and the room immaculate and the pool and docks are gorgeous!

All the staff were very helpful, cheerful, and courteous. All evenings events were fun. The use of Kayaks and paddle boards were fun and accessible and staff helpful.
The full experience and the Lake Motel was excellent and we would definitely return back.

The hotel itself is nice. A little dates but the rooms are spacious and the grounds are of course beautiful. Parking however is a nightmare. That alone would deter, especially during busy season. Otherwise I would stay again

We had some confusion before our check in but the hotel staff were so nice and accommodating! Everyone was helpful and we were provided s’mores over the fire Friday night! Parking can be a little tricky but we loved it and would def come back again!

Nice place to stay for the price. Convenient for everything you need. What's nice is we come there for the lake and we have access in the lake where we stayed. Motel staff are very nice.
