Check in personnel were very friendly… accommodating for early check in ( for a small fee) . We reported a minor problem with the bathroom door and it was fixed within less than an hour. Breakfast was good - nice selection of food. Very convenient location to many attractions. Valet service was great as well.

Room did NOT allow to low Temp AT ALL and was stuck at 73 degree F. When I brought this up to staff after seeing that there was no way to open the window to Let any air in they told me that the AC was off in the building and that the windows did not open for insurance purposes... and gave me a Box fan. However with the room layout there is nowhere to put the box fan that would reach the bed in any meaningful way... The Room fan or AC and heat only blew hot NO MATTER WHAT... The Room was so incredibly dry it caused a noise bleed. I understand this was in downtown and its an older building but when I made my choice to go with Hyatt Vs the 100 of other options I picked Hyatt as they have always been clean and Confront and service have always been what I have come to know as reliably good. NOT THE CASE AT THIS HYATT.. barley got any sleep and woke up Many Times sweating thought the top sheets. Would not have wished this stay on my worst enemy much less a paying customer...

Great location to visit Chicago, room were big enough for our family of 5. Bed were comfortable but the sofa bed was OK. Luckily it was our youngest sleeping there so it was fine. We had a large window in our room with a nice view on the Chicago's tallest buildings. Temperature in the room was great.
Best part of our stay was the staff there was amazing from the front desk to the breakfast staff and the cleaning personnel, everyone we interacted with was here to make your stay better. They always made sure all your needs were covered, were always happy to see you, very helpful. They made our trip to Chicago very enjoyable. Breakfast was good with a good assortments of options for proteins, carbs and fruits and vegetable. Good coffee and again great service. We will definitely stay there again for a next trip.

The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The pull out couch had your usual bar under the back and thin mattress but the kids did not complain. The highlight was definitely the hot breakfast every morning with excellent coffee! Also, excellent location in River North- we walked everywhere

Spent 2 nights. Very walkable to places of interest downtown. Nice free breakfast.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Personally bed was a hard. And hvac seemed to run constantly.

Very good stay for the price. The hotel is located right in the hustle bustle of River north with plenty of food options around. The hotel is located adjacent to a restaurant which is good spot and you can have drinks from there have them in hotel lobby.

I went to Chicago for a solo trip and every staff member was welcoming and friendly throughout my stay. The glass shower was great and breakfast is included. Also, housekeeping stops by daily to tidy up and make the bed. The hotel is within walking distance from several restaurants, rooftop bars, and the riverwalk. Lastly, as a solo traveler I loved there was a security guard at night and the main entrance is locked at 11pm, and guest can only come in with their key card. High recommend this location.

Two problems. 1. Only 2 elevators and one was out of service, so that made going to room a test of patience at high traffic times
2. Breakfast was very crowded and to be honest, not the best breakfast quality. Had similar offering at recent stay in Seattle but food quality was much better.

Reeds surrounding area. Central location, easy access to everything especially the Riverwalk. Rooms could be a little bigger but aside from that everything was great.
