A whole house with all the trimmings, amenities and warm South African welcome of the owner. The fridge contained complimentary butter, home made jam, bottle of wine and farm fresh milk. There were home made rusks and scrunchies. There was complimentary spices to use as well as olive oil etc etc. We were given two dishwashing pods and laundry detergent to use. I've never stayed in a place that is so well equipped. The owners friendliness further enhanced our stay.

This 3 bedroom villa is specious and comfortable . The views, pool and garden are beautiful and provide the perfect place to relax. The location provides easy access to the area and a walkable distance to town. The owners are the best. Great communication, very responsive to questions and issues and very pleasant to interact with. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Grand Plaisir in Franschhoek. The location is very convenient, only about a 5 minute drive away to the main street. Marlicia gave clear instructions for the check in and we appreciated the gesture of the wine bottle and all the yummy snacks in the kitchen.
Definitely recommend this place.

We had three couples in our group so we selected the Grande Plaisir, which was a great choice. The accommodations were wonderful, as was our hostess, Marlicia. She was very attentive and helpful. Her rusk is delicious BTW. The main street is a short 10 minute walk. We only wish we had more time to spend there. We all hope to return one day.

Small lounge and fully functional kitchen, with coffee and tea options as well as ability to prepare own meals. The bedroom and bathroom were comfortable. Spacious huge family home with a huge kitchen and lovely gardens and Mountain View’s and the splendor Franschiek has on offer all on your doorstep. Marlicia was so sweet and spoiled us with hone baked biscuits and beautiful kumquat preserve which was sublime. Such a wonderful host that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive ❤️

There is a lovely fireplace in the lounge for cold winter days and a braai and pizza oven at the pool area - great for summer evenings. The kitchen is massive and there is a big dining table for family meals. Marlicia was always available and made our stay very enjoyable. Great and affordable spot. Would definitely come back x
