This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at. Everything is kept in great conditions. The hotel staff was also extremely helpful all the way through. We were very pleased with our stay.

This hotel is a beautiful oasis of calm. Stepping through the front door into the garden pool area after a day of sightseeing was pure Heaven! And the rooms: Turkish tiles and beautiful details everywhere, topped off with the most comfortable bed. We loved our stay! Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful property with a wonderful staff! My wife and I booked a night stay here last minute after a day of touring Ephesus and we could not have been happier. The room was lovely. The pool was excellent and refreshing. Finally, breakfast was outstanding!

Absolutely wonderful hotel, a few minutes away from the ruins at Ephesus and Temple of Artemis. We had to leave before breakfast but the staff still got us tea and some breakfast cakes. They were super friendly and made a great reservation for us at a nearby restaurant. We will definitely go back.

This is a nice small hotel with a very friendly staff. The room was comfortable and the bedding was good. Breakfast was good and plenty.

Breakfast eggs were freshly cooked and the jasmine perfumed the air. A lovely experience and our best accommodation experience in Turkey. We stayed in 6 different hotels and this was our absolute favourite.

Walking through the gate into the property was like walking into a beautiful garden. The room was like a museum with family heirlooms framed on the walls between exquisite carpets. The ambiance and attention to detail cannot be overlooked. Such a treasure and pleasure from staff and owners. I felt like I was in a home away from home. ❤️

A little oasis behind a big wooden door - surrounded by ancient sites. After a hot day hiking and inspecting Roman and Byzantine sites, it was glorious to retreat to Akanthus. We loved this hotel and its pool, relaxing chairs overlooking the valley, and our room with a view. If we could snap our fingers, we’d be back.

This hotel is a true oasis. Once inside you feel transported into a different world. The smell of jasmine, the beautiful pool, the lovely staff all make this a truly exceptional place to stay and relax. The manager, Soner, is possibly the most genuinely positive and friendly person I’ve ever met. If you are going to Selcuk then stay here.

We drove our rental car from Izmir, and easily found the hotel where we were warmly greeted by their wonderful staff. The room was first rate, and the proximity to the ruins makes visiting effortless. Breakfast was very nice, and the property has a cozy feel that made us want to stay longer and visit again in the future. We really enjoyed our time in Ephesus, and it was made even better by the staff and hotel at Akanthus.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Muharrem was the kindest host who took care of all our needs. He arranged airport transfers, made recommendations and reservations at two excellent restaurants both about 4-5 minute walks from the hotel and engaged the most knowledgeable guide for a whole day of touring the Ephesus historical site. The hotel is quiet and comforting with soft music playing in the background and complimentary cake and coffee/tea available all day. The room was spotless and the property lovingly displays rugs and artifacts. The breakfast is excellent with eggs cooked perfectly as you choose and fresh fruit, breads and jams and cheeses. Every staff member was professional, helpful and smiling. Watching the sunset from the pool deck with a cup of Turkish tea was totally relaxing after a day of touring. We were so sad that our schedule did not permit an extension of a couple more days.
