What a wonder place!!! Bobby the dog & the little orange tabby were so welcoming and sweet! The staff were all so kind!!! The essence of Pura Vida. Breakfast was good and are room was adorable! What a great space!! We will be back!

The staff was very friendly. They upgraded us to a cabin so we didn’t have to haul our stuff upstairs in the rain. Very cute place.

Rooms are cabin like. No air conditioning or pool but evenings were cooler. Lots of different tours and shopping experiences. Hard to park in town but found a good restaurant with a parking lot. Staff were very nice and knowledgeable

Although not a far walk from the centre it had lovely feel of a jungle cabin mainly due to wooden interior. This made room quite dark but what you would expect in a jungle. Saw a Toucan a few feet away on the balcony. Breakfast very good. Stayed two nights.

The staff and grounds were very nice. The rooms were very spacious and well done. My only complaint was the bathroom. The shower floor was too slippery. The wrong type of tile was used. The soap was too far from the shower so one had to cross the slippery floor to get it. There was only one small light 10 feet up in the bathroom.

I would recommend Villa Lodge. We prioritized adventure and activity over accommodations this trip, figuring we'd be falling into bed exhausted every night. This place was exactly what we expected. Clean with friendly service. Nothing fancy at all, but we were not expecting that.

Monteverde villa lodge was the perfect place for our first time in Monteverde. They had everything we needed at a great price. Karen and Kristina booked our travel from airport and excursion's, and the breakfast was delicious (fresh juice, fruit, and eggs and Costa Rica traditional) I can’t say enough good things about this place. I would definitely stay here again.

They were very responsive via email. They booked transportation and guide to rainforest, in advance for the next morning. They also booked us for our onward journey to La Fortuna Many local restaurants nearby within walking distance to have lunch/dinner and shopping Good breakfast(included) to start your day! Very spacious room with furniture. Individual cabana was a nice feeling. Walking distance to Orchid Garden, a very unique experience.
