The smell when you walk in the lobby is very welcoming and the decor is so chic. We rented the cabana and it was everything! Staff friendly and nice. Can’t wait to do another staycation.

It was supposed to be a relaxing weekend gataway but it was far from relaxing. When booking the hotel, we requested a room with a bathtub. When we arrived they said they were all booked. We went to our room down a hallway filled with marijuana smoke. Then our next door neighbor has several dogs locked in the room that were barking non-stop. I asked the front desk to switch rooms- they said they are busy but will switch us the next day after check-out. After hearing dogs bark all evening and morning, I went to the desk to see if they can switch our room. They said they will have a few rooms available afternoon and they will give us a call. Nobody did, and the front desk staff did nothing to accommodate us. Also, the plan was to lounge by the pool but when we got up there- the water was murky and the glass looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in a decade, so we just left. This property is NOT as good as advertised. Very ghetto and disappointing experience.

The Fontaine is INCREDIBLE and a MUST stay whenever I am in Kansas City! The staff are SO gracious, friendly and WONDERFUL and the rooftop bar is spectacular!

Wonderful staff. Clean, comfortable with modern look. Beautiful pool. Great location but rooms on the 2nd floor are a little loud as expected for a city street.

Nice hotel, staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, but the mattress was terrible, they definitely need to be replaced, especially for that room rate.

The bed sheets are very poor. No room service for coffee was available. I went to the restaurant and asked why. The woman said it was because her co-worker did not show up for work. These kinds of things should not happen at an expensive hotel.
