We had a lovely stay at the Victoria Stone in Évora. Ohr room was generous and clean. While we didn't end up using the pool, the pool area did look inviting. The bar area, including the terrasse were nice to sit in. The breakfas buffet in had all you may need. Only the tea set up could be improved (hot water from a thermos and not the greatest tea selection). The hotel is in easy walking distance from the old town of Évora and there is enough parking space around the hotel, so you can park near, even if the number of spaces offered by the hotel is limited.

We had a nice big room and enjoyed being walking distance to “inside the walls”. Parking was easily found and was free. It gets hot in Évora so the rooftop pool was a welcome oasis. Also, the big breakfast offered a nice selection including vegetarian options. The front desk were super friendly and we greatly enjoyed our stay. :)

I had to come in from the bus station to the hotel because of the train strike and thought I could handle the 1km walk in my suit jacket with a 14kg bag and another at 7kg in 100 degree heat. I did okay until the last 200 meters with not a drop of sweat then it was niagra falls. It was funny because when being checked in the guy went through all the facilities and said they had a sauna, but looked me over and said "I don't think you need it right now." All the staff were friendly in all the areas, reception, bar, breakfast, the only problem I had was an epic wait to order a drink one time (even by Portuguse standards) so i only used the bar for one drink a night. The room was really nice with a good balcony.

This is an amazing property where you can walk to the centre of Evora. Rooms are very nice, beautiful pool and impeccable property. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend this hotel
