Special mention goes to Barbara at the reception desk. She was incredibly helpful during our check-in, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Barbara went above and beyond, providing excellent recommendations for sightseeing and helping us find all the information we needed to make the most of our visit. We reserved a room with a terrace, which was wonderful. It overlooked the plaza so it was fun to people watch from our very large terrace. It was quiet at night so no problem with noise.
The tram stopped right in front of the hotel which was very convenient.

Welcoming, attentive and very professional staff who went out of their way to make even the smallest aspect of my stay so enjoyable. One of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure to stay.

Some of the friendliest and most accommodating hotel staff we've met. The hotel is on the main square but was still quiet. Lots of dining/shopping options. They looked after our touring bicycles during our stay.

Stayed 1 night with my family of 4 at this hotel, located in the corner of a very lively plaza, surrounded by restaurants, bars, cafes and clothing stores. No need to drive in this city because everything is walking distance. Just bear in mind the city has hills, so you’ll find yourself walking uphill or downhill with every turn you take.
Pros:
- 10 minute walk from train station;
- 10 minute walk from the castle d’Angers;
- 5-10 minute walk to the nearest little market that is open past 8pm;
- Family room is spacious, beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is huge.
- Breakfast is only around 11euro (we unfortunately did not wake up on time to partake in breakfast). But after looking around for cheaper breakfast options, we couldn’t find anything unless you’re interested in some baked goods or crepes;
- The room has AC!! This is luxury in Europe.
- Free baggage storage during the day after 11am check-out.
Shoutout to the staff working at this hotel - they are all amazing. Having travelled the world, I can say with certainty that I was completely amazed with the excellent customer service and kindness from staff at the front desk. Customer service is multilingual, welcoming and top notch quallity.
The only minor con during our stay was not being able to find the patio the hotel advertises. But simply asking the front desk would have fixed this.
I highly recommend this place to all locals and travellers! Cheers from Canada!

A lovely hotel in the centre of Angers. Overlooking the central town square. Good soundproofing. Very clean. Air conditioned room. We paid for a room with a terrace, which was worthwhile as the room didn't have much space for sitting together.
