This hotel/condo was cozy and quiet, yet a hop, skip and a jump close to 5th street the highlight of this area. I did not use the pool, with limited sun hitting the two pools, the water was too cold. Although the water is very close to the hotel, it is not a beach shore. The hotel does provide lounge chairs for the 20 by 50 feet of sand by the water.

It was a nice area but not on the beach which was disappointing. Photos do this place very much justice... See through curtains lack of privacy, tv’s do not work and getting a water gallon tank fixed took over 12 hours and 3 times asking.

Hotel was excellent, clean, big enough for our family, my kids had their own room. Full kitchen we were able to cook and have our breakfast in the room, and they have a very nice restaurant, where you can seat by the water

The room had problem with cooling that was not solved. The key didnt open the door andbhad tonwaitv45 mins for solution.

El Taj Staff was always displaying professionalism, at checkin we felt welcome, everyone we spoke always show care, we had a lost bag that was delivered to the lobby they always kept us informed and responded quickly to any of our questions, in regards to Milton's huracan that was near the area we felt safe at home, the condo was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. The views were amazing, everything was well thought of, the location was great, near all the busy restaurants, nightclubs, galleries, but yet quiet and relaxing family environment. We will highly recommend it! I assure you we will come back.

Everything was perfect until we book other nigth fernanda martinez was in charge the check in at the time
i ask her if she let stay same room one day before my check in and she tell not make me do check out and loose my day.and check in again which i thing no need to she could le stay same room but she desire not to speak to other colege they tell the should be not problem… but she make me do check out and check in diferenr room. and lose all my day beside the everything was perfect bell boy Eric was so nice other staff great people.but fernananda Martinez sucks.

Love the privacy, the home away from home feel. Traveled with two friends and we had our own rooms with common space and top terrace. Staff isn't bugging you, they come as needed! Each room had its own AC unit and a main space unit. Having a washer and dryer was great as well. Very nice space overall.

This was a lovely hotel by the beach with full kitchens in the rooms and a good gym. Would definitely stay here again.

It is beautiful, clean and right on the beach. We had a small issue with our hot tub and we could not use it after the first day but it 100 degrees outside and we were next to the ocean so we didn’t really miss it.

Very nice place to stay but the only thing was that the elevators where not working and we where staying at the way to the top

I did not have a happy stay at this resort for the following reasons:
Unfortunately during our stay the elevator was out of order and we were given a third floor condo. There are (3) sets of stairs for each floor. With me advising the front desk I have Achilles tendinitis and sciatica back pain I was not offered a room on a lower floor.
The master bedroom has a balcony with yellow caution tape due a broken or railing needing repair so I was not comfortable utilizing the balcony.
The chairs/cushions on the beach as well has by the pool are worn out, terribly stained and in desperate need of replacement.
Overall due to the above issues I would not recommend to stay as there’s no regard to your health or safety.

Overall good. Great location right on tbe beaxh and very xlose to the nightlife. We had no water for around 24 hours and our bathrooms/toilets we not cleaned for all 5 nights stay. Not many sun beds if you wanted to relax at the hotel. Staff nice and helpful. Overall a good stay with only a few gripes.

The property was amazing. The desk staff was always helpful and knowledgeable; the other staff members were also excellent. The beach was literally a few steps from the hotel pool. The clean and warm sea was great for relaxation.
The only complaint is the smell in the room, which is noticeable when entering. It is the smell of a humid, poorly ventilated, moldy chamber (almost like a dungeon). The same smell was in our clothes when we returned home and opened our suitcases. Fortunately, after the first wash, it was gone.
I recommend El Taj as a desirable choice for a family vacation.
