The outside entrance is not so attractive but inside off pousada nice and cozy, Excellent reception from host. The rooms is on the small side . But the bed and the bedding are very comfortable.
Very nice. Our stay was short. Just wish have more time to enjoy the place.

Fernando was one of the best hosts that one can get! It felt as if we were staying with family. The breakfast was great and fernando recommended some great places to eat in the town. We travelled around South America for 3 months and this was by far one of our favourite places that we stayed at. I never felt so relaxed and welcomed in a place before.

Probably one of the best hosts that one can get! Each one of them unique in their own way but all of them amazing in any aspect. Very friendly, full with ideas, making delicious breakfast, awesome trip recommendations, etc.

Our weekend at the Pontal Gardens couldn't have been better. The hosts Nando e Rony are as friendly and kind as it's possible. They gave some excellent tips about what to do at the city since we had never been there before. If you're travelling with your pet, this is THE place to stay at. It's near from the historical city and a block away from the beach. We look forward to get back to Paraty soon and we already know where to stay: Pontal Gardens. Highly recommended!

All rooms have a small private garden and ours had a hammock. A 5-10 minute walk to the historic centre where there is plenty of restaurants and bars, some with live music. Pontal Garden is a great pousada choice for your Paraty stay.
