This hotel was nicely located in Kyoto, quite a short walk from subway. Surrounded by nice parks and easy to get around. Overall had a good experience at this hotel with easy check-in and out process. Safe entry to hotel after hours with key-card required also.

Staff were really happy and friendly. Mixed level of English available, but didn't have a major issue in our inquiries. Hotel is lovely and clean and all services worked well. Great location with walking distance to the nearest Subway and some attractions. Recommend

For a cheap price for 2 nights, this hotel was better than expected. It was easy to travel around and safe to come back in the evenings.

Can't fault this. Relatively spacious room, great connections to public transport, great breakfast in morning.

Perfect location with very good price!
Could take a 10 minutes walk to Kyoto station and Kawaramachi, and there are a McDonald & a Starbucks nearby.
Also the hotel is located in a quiet lane, the window can be opened and be sleeping well all night long.

I booked a smoking room because it was advertised with a "city view", so I thought it would be worth the small sacrifice. The "view" was over some ugly blocks and the smell of cigarette was extremely strong. They should probably remove the "city view" qualificative altogether. Otherwise, the hotel was nice and well located.

Great location. Excellent value. Reason for the 4 star instead of 5 was the check in process. The guy was a bit rude, which is rare is Japan.

This hotel offered a small but cozy and inexpensive room. The WiFi was fast and the included breakfast was very good. Staff was very friendly.

The room is small, like the other hotels in Japan, but it's very clean and comfortable. The location is quiet and converience since you could buy things in Family Store under 5-minute walking distance. The breakfast is simply and good with rice, egg and bread. I will stay here if coming Tyoto again.
