A clean well-presented house which is quick to warm with heat pump and double glazing in a convenient location 5 minutes' walk from the township amenities. The Town and country club is 100m down the street where non -members will be welcomed to enjoy the restaurant and bar and locals chat ! The house offers lovely views of the bush clad mountains with a beautiful private and fully fenced garden which is safe for kids and a pet. Watch the tuis and bell birds swoop into the feeder in this quiet location. The kitchen and lounge are well proportioned with a gas and electric stove. Electric heat pump heats the whole house so quickly which is essential when returning from a day trip. Free Sky tv and fibre wifi are real bonuses. The comfortable beds are constantly reviewed as a positive of peoples stays. The second bedroom can be made up as a king bed or on request 2 singles offering family flexibility. A separate toilet from the bathroom with a bath and strong jetted gas shower are close to bedrooms. There are puzzles and games for the family to enjoy plus a BBQ .

Day walks on part of these tracks an option along with so many 1 or 2 hour return walks such as Lake Marian or longer walks like Holyford track.
For the thrill seekers a jet boat ride into the stunning landscapes of the lord of the ring's country.
Every visit must include a trip to the glow worm caves, a pleasure cruise on the historic Faith to the hidden lake in the Centre of Lake Te Anau or a walk into Ivan Wilson Park.
This park is only a 20 minute walk from the house along the lake front, through the native bird sanctuary to a magical woodland with mirror lake qualities and view up to the mountains. The Disc golf course in the park is also proving popular.

Easy communication throughout the stay. Very clean, well set up especially with kitchen facilities. The beds were very comfy and was nice having a fenced private back yard especially as we had a dog with us. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting somewhere to feel like a home away from home.

Beautiful tidy and well presented home and very easy for my 90+Yr old parents and my son, who has back problems, to get around. Within walking distance for me , not my folks to the lake front. So much nature in Te Anau, went to Milford Sound. Well worth the trip. Thank you to our hosts for such awesome accomodation and for accomodating our special needs. Was lovely for the dogs too, very safe and fenced in.

Great place to stay, clean, comfy, had all conveniences we needed and a fantastic shower! My only issue was that I had to login to the website to get the lock box code, rather than it being emailed out with the rest of the check in instructions after the final payment. Other than that, absolutely great. Two thumbs up.

We stayed here with our family and the place is perfect!!!! Great size home for a family and it is well located near the centre of town. Nice little private rear lawn with outdoor table which gets the sun all day long. It has everything you need. Highly recommend and we will stay here again when we visit next. House was very centrally located, with the photos not doing it justice! The place was easy to find and navigate through. Communication with owner was very easy considering we didn’t have reception/internet prior to the stay!
My only issue was the cleaning fee considering there were so many things you were expected to do before departure. Not sure what you’re paying for there.

We felt like a couple of days away with our dog, some were quiet and peaceful, we took our bikes and had a lovely time. Fabulous place to stay, clean, warm quiet, dog had a fenced area outside, neighbours were friendly.

This is a lovely home, with wonderful amenities. The location is perfect, the back yard is lovely and private, and all you might need is in the kitchen. If we ever get back to Te Anau, we would happily stay here again.
