We ended up moving to the GR Solaris for the final 3 days of our trip because our last resort was a disaster. It was the right decision. Night and day. The GR Solaris was lovely, well appointed and in great shape. Would highly recommend this resort to anyone.

Great place to stay at a very low price.
Perfect place for budget friendly travel people. You get what you pay for. Food is definitely below average for Cancun and I stayed in Cancun over 20 times in the last 10 years

Ok VIP benefits I just received a bottle of sparkling wine and that’s it, staff they are friendly only a guy at the front desk was very rude I don’t have his name he is short black hair and wears glasses, the hotel is clean but they have to take care of the little details I used a pair of coffee cups and they never washed now the most important part was the food I stayed with my family 8 members and 6 of them were sick they have to check quality of ingredients and how they cook

Staff especially at the pool and the cafe were awesome. Our room AC was not cool enough. We asked 4 times to make it work so it could get cooler and it never did. Not being able to swim on the beach at the property was also a down fall.

The bars outside by the pools closed at 6 pm when the pools closed at 11pm. The food was great it was the same dishes everyday and most looked old. We will not be staying here again

My husband and I were very disappointed with the front desk and staff. They tried to charge us for a phone call that we did not make. The buffet was not good at all except for breakfast. The refrigerator was not cooling from the moment we checked in and I had to report it at the front desk 3 times. The ATM machine was broken the whole 5 days that we were there. They did not carry change for large bills. I will not be returning to this hotel ever again.

The property was ok, but for a 5 star hotel it was not up to par.
From the moment we came we were bombarded to be part of their timeshare sales which was very unsettling since we came for a vacation not any business items.
The dining option were very nice but you need to book your spot before you reach the hotel.
The Staff around the hotel were really nice and helpful.
The drinks were not the best and after 11pm there is nothing to do or nothing really available except room service.

Hotel is not what it’s it looks like. They didn’t give me the room we wanted for two people. We got a room with 3 beds so you can imagine the beds were smaller than expected for husband and wife. Food was not good and the drinks were watered down. We have been to Mexico few times now and this resort was the worse next to the once we have been to before. But I will say the staff is beyond friendly and did everything to help.

Its our first time at mexico and gr solaris didn't disappoint us at all. Entertainment crew Gracie, Nina/Gina and Israel was excellent! We will definitely be back!
