We absolutely fell in love with Otmoor house, and found it very hard to leave. Not only does it provide you with the tranquility of the area and beautiful views, but a lot of effort has been spent on the interior decor with so much attention paid to every detail. It was a real treat living in the cottage, and cannot recommend it enough! Our hosts were absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. There is a lovely walking route starting at the door, around the fields and RSPB reserve where you could do bird watching at the bird hideout over the moor, taking you back up through a forest to the local village where we’ve enjoyed lunch at the local pub which has a spectacular outdoor space with views over the hills. There is a local farm shop where you could PYO fruits, veg and flowers and other lovely local produce. We can’t wait to return soon, a true gem!

Otmoor House was just amazing . A perfect place to experience farm stay near Oxford . Fresh air , modern living home away from home . Host Jo and John were absolutely lovely and made our stay even more pleasant . Will definitely be back . It’s only 25 mins from Oxford and Bicester and 55 mins to Daylesford farm and Bourton on water

We had a fantastic holiday at Otmoor House, the house was spotless, beds were hotel standard and you could get lost in the exceptional view.
The views of the filling countryside and wetlands made for a stunning backdrop best placed in a national geographic photo shoot!!
The local farm shop, pick your own and even the historic city of Oxford were all close by, so we were never short of things to do.
The owners/hosts were so welcoming and accommodating it felt like we were family!! The only downside we had was not staying longer, so would recommend to anyone looking for an idyllic escape from their busy world and looking to unplug for a week or two (don’t worry there was very good WiFi!!)

It really is as good as it looks in the photos. Superb, quality furnishings throughout. Wonderfully quiet. Amazing, isolated location with fantastic views. What you can't see on the photos are the lovely hosts, John and Jo, who looked after us so well. Apparently, we were the first occupants and we were very privileged to be so. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
