It was ok
There is absolutely no parking in the near vicinity. You have to break traffic regulations and risk getting a ticket to unload. There was no mention of a spiral staircase to the property and we had no wifi throughout our visit. Why did we have to pay a £250 damage deposit??
3.5
the location is great and close to the shops, coffee shops and the buses to city center. The staff were very helpful and they were quick at reply
The flat is a little bit small and cramped and has dangerous, circular shape steel stairs. There were no enough garbage bags for someone who will stay for 10 nights! I had to buy it to collect the rubbish.
1.5
Washing machine with tumbler included.
towels and linen included.
equipment was good and plenty
a Little shabby and worn down. stains on carpet. cutlery and crockery was stained. pics on internet way than reality. leakage from bathroom ceiling (taken care of by staff - very helpful).
mould in bathroom.
bad value for rather high price

1- Location, next to the Manor Hospital where we needed to stay near by
2- The size of the property
3-The staff response was fast
4-The view to the garden
1- Overall the property is very old and needs renovation. When the neighbours upstairs used the washing machine, the property was shaking
2- kitchen materials were not sufficient (bowl for ex) and some of them were not clean (pan, oven)
3-Floors were not properly cleaned and curtains were dirty as well
4- There was no dishwasher esp when you stay long for 3 weeks, it is highly needed
5- TV did not work at the beginning but was resolved after the visit of the staff. yet you tube did not work

Great space and clean and comfy apartment.
A little tricky to find the door as we arrived in the dark. Also parking was a bit of an issue.

Nice big apartment, friendly and helpful hosts, close to shops
Bathroom needs a bit of TLC but not too bad - perfectly functional

Great location. Easy access to supermarkets and shops. Friendly people around. I am especially impressed by the quick response of the host.
The bathroom is a bit cold cause there is a window on the roof.

Location was great
Parking a bit difficult to get

Found the Oxford people very friendly and very helpful. Also the staff at the Platinum Pillows call centre were courteous and helpful, and answered the phone promptly. There was an excellent bus service into town. And the bus to and from Heathrow was only a 1/4 mile walk from the apartment.
Did not get door code before arrival and was able to enter as the premises was unlocked. Emailed Platinum pillows and the code was sent on but the door code remained tricky for the duration of the stay.

The owner responds 24 hours a day and is able to solve any problem quickly. The house is spacious and close to bus stops (city center, London and airports) and shops. The kitchen has all appliances and I appreciated the Tassimo coffee machine. A couple more pots and pans would be useful. The shower water has a good pressure and can easily adjusted to a confortable temperature (after maintenance work).
I had problems with the bathroom which needed extraordinary maintenance. Fortunately, the host called a plumber despite the Easter holidays to temporarily fix the bathtube.
I think the bathroom colud be renovated.

The location and Mary was responsive to our complaints and tried to make it right.
The bathroom tub had not been cleaned. we had to have the cleaning crew back out to clean it. There was only one extra roll of toilet paper in the bathroom for six people for seven days. The toilet paper was very cheap and therefore ran out very fast. The living room blind was broken and sagging. There was no mattress pad on the double bed. The edge strips on the carpet in the living room were extremely sharp and sticking up. we had to place tape over them so that our kids wouldn’t cut their feet. I had already cut my foot.

The location was great for us. We were visiting family who live in Headington so Oxford city center was not our priority.
The bathroom toilet seat is broken and had been repaired with putty instead of being replaced properly.

Location , host (platinum Pillows) were very professional in dealing with any issues ,,,maintenance, heating,,etc
Accessibility, the apartment is in the rear of apartment house so to reach there through a narrow dark path was very inconvenient

location, small apartment, perfect for a weekend break, although not in oxford city centre the bus links are great
the bathroom did smell a bit mouldy and could do with a refresh to match the rest of the apartment. The threshold strips between the kitchen and the living area could be tapped down better as one of us caught our toe on this

The location of the flat was good, down side was no parking but we used the park on my drive site and secured a space 5 mins away.
The flat was clean but the carpets need replacing

The size of the apartment and the washing machine with dryer. Quiet area. Close to Oxford Brookes University and close to bus stops (London, airports and city center).
Around external the door were large spiders and cobwebs. As I opened the door a few entered the house. There were also spiders along the stairs to access the apartment. The staff are very nice and immediately sent a person to clean and take out the external spiders.
4.5
The property is well-located at Headington, very close to Oxford Brookes University and in a safe residential area. There is plenty of choice for supermarkets and restaurants nearby and bus stops with easy connectivity to get to the city centre and other suburbs. Oxford Tube, the bus service connecting to London and also Airport buses all have stops at Headington, with just 3 min walk from the property. The property itself is well-kept, with all essentials for a self-catering stay. The management was very hospitable in meeting my needs like providing me with a fan and iron. The backyard lawn was awesome. I will stay again there.
Carpets were a bit worn-out. More utensils could have been kept but is just a suggestion. Just before we checked-out the carpet people were there to put new one, we were not so lucky :)

On bus route, #8, to Oxford City Centre.
Close to local shops & pubs.
Very good Lebanese Restaurant close by.
Large Screen TV with ability to log onto Netflix.
Free WiFi.
Comfy Beds.
Plenty of hot water for Bath, Shower and washing up.
On the first night, the apartment had a party which lasted till 5 in the morning. Extremely loud, strong smell of cannabis, shouting, swearing, music, things breaking.
Tried to ring management but no response till next day. Too be fair they dealt with the offending apartment, apologised and gave a refund for the first night.
No more noise on other nights.
No parking on site (£15) locally for 24 hours.
Stains on living room carpets.
Rips in living room carpets.
Garden outside scruffy and outdoor lighting broken.

Located in good neighbourhood.Comfortable double bed in good sized bedroom.. 2nd smaller bedroom with 2 comfortable single beds. Large screen TV. Good shower.. Fridge freezer, washing machine (but no instructions). Large private garden to rear of property Cycle shelter to the rear.
Metal spiral staircase to 2nd floor flat which was hazardous in wet weather.provided only access to property. Unsuitable for persons with mobility issues or suffering from vertigo. No parking at property or nearby. Bath was slippy for having a shower. Some leakage of water onto floor from shower screen which was easily dislodged. Poor quality pans in kitchen. Wet and dirty sponge tiles on narrow balcony were slippy and brought mud into living room. Adjacent to a hospital and disturbed by noise from infrequent arrival of helicopter ambulance.. Cycle shelter/ rack cluttered. by old bikes.
3.5
Location was good for Oxford Brookes university campus. Beds were comfy and shower was very good. Well equipped kitchen. Nice garden to look out on with squirrels and birds
Check in and check out time were changed after we booked. Place was cold and no instructions available on hearing so used the electric fan for the duration. Although towels smelt clean they had paint and what looked like fake tan stains on them. It sounded like the people upstairs were constantly moving furniture with a herd of elephants
3.5
Location was good.
A street light outside the bedroom which was on fo 10 seconds and off for 6 seconds throughout the night.
The blinds are not blackout.
3.5
Clean toilets, comfortable beds
Lack of parking, nearby parking very expensive.
Property not well lit both inside and outside.
There was a big box obstructing the entrance to the bottom apartment , the buggy couldn't go in directly.
Stairs going to the upstairs apartment were too slippery and the lack of lights didn't help.
4.0
Location excellent. Property a little tired in places but very comfy beds & good kitchen. Had problems accessing original apt booked, rang hosts & they sorted out an alternative straight away. Extremely helpful & we've had a great weekend. The tip about just park for parking spaces was brilliant too, got one just around the corner.
Black out blind on front bed room. Street light outside was flashing on & off so additional curtains as well as blind would have been great
