We were greeted upon our arrival by friendly staff at the reception and Francisco kindly helped us settle in by briefing us on the amenities and what we can expect from our stay which left a great first impression. The team had kindly left a bottle of Fizz for us and rose petals in our room as we were staying for our honeymoon which was incredibly thoughtful and a lovely touch to our experience. The breakfast buffet options were plentiful and we never had a problem finding a sun lounger. There were plenty of small restaurants directly opposite the hotel and up the hill within a ten minute walk and we found ourselves staying for the hotel evening show every night due to how varied and fun they were. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, low-key holiday stay with enough nearby eating options but easy access to other parts of the island also available through the taxi rank directly outside the hotel.

Food was great overall. I was nice to see no extra charge for food or drink ordered at the bar or outside Breakfast, Launch and dinner. Balinese Beds made the holiday a lot better as we didn’t have to fight our way for a sun lunge with others and it meant we could order from the bar directly from the be.
Sun lunges are basically all occupied by 10am. Very annoying having to come up with strategies to get a good place next to the pool.

Les gens qui laissent leur serviettes (parfois plusieurs heures) pour réserver leur transat 🤨.

Zimmer im EG - die Leute laufen vorbei und schauen alle ins Zimmer oder auf den Balkon, hätte mir mehr Ruhe und ein Zimmer weiter oben gewünscht. Doppelbett sind zwei Betten zusammengeschoben, rutschen dauernd auseinander. Die Fußablage für den Liegestuhl wackelt sehr und fällt fast auseinander. Fön geht aus sobald man ihn leicht zu Seite neigt (Wackelkontakt)Zimmer im EG - die Leute laufen vorbei und schauen alle ins Zimmer oder auf den Balkon, hätte mir mehr Ruhe und ein Zimmer weiter oben gewünscht. Сніданки та вечері різноманітні та смачні, вид з номера на океан, ліжка зручні, фен потужний, прибирання в номері кожний день. Рушники для пляжу видають безкоштовно один раз, якщо треба змінити, то треба доплатити 2 евро.
Система кондиціонування майже не працювала, тому було жарко, немає нормального пляжу з нормальним заходом в океан, тільки по скелям і камінню, тому їздили на інші пляжі в сусідні міста. Сам район дуже тихий, нема що робити ні в день, ні ввечері, окрім пенсіонерських вечорів в самому готелі. Було трохи скучно. Але спокійно і тихо.

The view, the room, the staff, the food, the entertainment, everything was great. The bed was super comfortable too. We had an amazing stay.
Minor detail: When waiting at the pool bar some bartenders come and get your order directly and ask you to sit down. This often led to longer waiting times. It would have been faster to take the order at the bar instead. Rather than having your drink in 5 - 10 minutes, we waited between 20-45 minutes.

Great location with an impressive view overlooking the sea where you can catch a beautiful sunset. The staff were lovely, very attentive. We also enjoyed the all inclusive drinks where even premium options were available. The pool area was clean and had plenty of sunbeds available.
Twin beds were a bit uncomfortable to share as a couple with a big gap in the middle! Buffet food was pretty average except for the breakfast which was fantastic, however we had to queue some mornings for breakfast to be seated for about 15mins.

On our arrival our room was very disappointing as on the same level as the public path outside so all passerbys could look into our room with no privacy. There was also an awful metal railing we could look out on felt like we were in prison! My husband complained so we were moved the following day to a higher room which was much better. Another point is that the balcony’s are not divided very well so not much privacy from your neighbours 😐
The restaurant was very busy and on some occasions we had to que to get into it. Felt like a busy canteen. Not enough GF food either for a celiac not catered enough for food allergies.

Für uns ein absolutes Wohlfühlhotel: unschlagbare Lage - der Ausblick ist einfach gigantisch, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, entspannte Atmosphäre, tolle Buffets und große Terrasse, angenehmes Publikum (hauptsächlich ältere Engländer), unterhaltsame Shows am Abend. Alles ist gut organisiert und herrlich unkompliziert. Bei unserer Ankunft hatten wir einige Willkommensgeschenke im Zimmer, als "Gäste des Tages" 😁 Ich weiß nicht, ob das jeder bekommt, uns hat es auf jeden Fall außerordentlich gefreut!!! Insgesamt fantastisches Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, auch die Getränkepreise sind sehr moderat. Wir hatten in diesem Hotel einen unserer schönsten Urlaube überhaupt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
Teilweise hätte die Anlage etwas besser gepflegt sein können.

The room was extremely spacious, and had a beautiful view of Los Gigantes and the sea. The hot tub in the room was such a great feature, so after a lovely day out, we could just simply relax in it and watch the sea, or just enjoy the breeze. The buffet breakfast and dinner were incredibly great value, and the food was of fantastic quality!
Also, the massage we had was top class, and very much needed. :)
The pools aren't heated. They aren't. Even though it's said on Booking. They were ice cold. The one in the spa was warmER, but I definitely wouldn't say that it was a relaxing temperature. I specifically chose this accommodation because of the supposed heated pools, but I was sad to explore that even the jacuzzi outside was of a colder temperature. So, if you want to swim in the pool, bring a diving suit. :/ I basically couldn't swim the whole time, and even my wife struggled, though her tolerance is much better than mine.

Everything about the facility was great. The staff were friendly. The location was close to incredible sites. There was a gym and spa so I could keep up my wellness. The breakfast buffet was a speed fit for royalty 😀
Because of the humidity the toilet water would start smelling fowl. But it went away if the air conditioner was kept at 22C. The hotel is opposite a bar where they play VERY LOUD music starting at 2200 and end a little after midnight. Not great for early sleepers and risers like me

The highlight is the pool area with the most incredible views of La Gomera and Los Gigantes. We also had a beautiful view of the sea from our balcony. Everything was perfect!
A very minor gripe - you don't seem to get a bath robe or tea bags unless you ask for them at the reception but no-one tells you that and there is no signage explaining this in the room. I spent the entire first 24h thinking that the Housekeeping neglected stocking my room. Why would the managers wish to deny their guests the thing we all come to enjoy in a Barcelo hotel - a lovely hot shower, slipping into a fluffy white robe and having a cuppa as soon as you check in?

The let to use the safe in the room need to be handed at the time of check-in. It was most unhelpful that upon entering the room and could not access the safe I then called rexiprion who said I will need to collect a key at reception. I was not happy. I just found other way of securing my items.

The location is fantastic. There are breathtaking views on the ocean and cliefs from the balconies and the roof. The facilities are modern and comfortable. Probably, this is one of the best hotels in the area.
We were placed in a room with a broken air conditioner. After our request, a receptionist sent a man to us to repair it. He looked at the problem, said: 'un momento', and left. We had to wait for him about 2 hours but no one returned. We spoke with the receptionist again and agreed on his proposal to change the room. We got one for people with disabilities (we are not). The next day we had to check out till midday (our luggage could be stored in a special room) and check in at 2pm to get a standard room that we booked.
Also, the room service was not perfect. We ordered some coffee/tea via the app - it wasn't delivered. Only with a kind reminder to the receptionist, we received it (literally, in a minute).
Some personel was not so pleasant to talk to. Though they fixed the problems. So, our journey was not as smooth as we would like to. Top hotel but the customer service could be improved.

Best location in that spot with amazing views! The hotel itself is so beautifully decorated, not like as usual ones. The room was big with a terrace, but I would recommend to get rooms at higher floors for the best view and so there will be no people passing by behind the fence. The swimming pool area is cool, there are 3 separate areas with different depth, so you have enough space to swim. Staff was friend and without any problems helped us. There was a variety of food and desserts and also in front of buffet there is a restaurant if you want something different.
No need to hurry up for breakfast or other meals - they refresh empty dishes.
Go for a Balinese bed at the pool with Los Gigantes view and Teide from a swimming pool.

Some facilities were not up to par, water in showers was cold at times, aircon in rooms very low during the day but turned up automatically in early hours which actually led to my travel companion catching a cold. All minor but they build up

We were very pleased beacause of surprise that we got when we came to our hotel room (rose petals, champagne).
Very friendly hotel staff, amazing pools, games at the pools. Amaazing view from our room window and in the restaurant.
There was a lot of flies in restaurant area around food.
