There was nothing not to like

The hotel is beautiful, the landscape is amazing and the apartment is comfortable, including the beds! the view from the apartment was beautiful, you can see the ocean and the plantains

The apartment is a bit humid, we had to open the windows for a while whenever we returned. Depending on the neighbors it can get a bit noisy as they are only separated through door. The location on Google maps is not 100% accurate would suggest to adapt it

+ Location seemed to be part of Wes Anderson movie : colorful and authentic + The garden is spectacular, between the scenographic pool, blooming lilies & banana plantation : cannot decide what we loved more + The finca is well located at 15' distance from Puerto de la Cruz and nearby the highway + Check-In details were received through WhatsApp and it was easy to follow + The views from our apartment were incredible: one side the mountain and the other side the ocean. We felt lucky to have both + Breakfast was exceptional and it looked attentively designed. We enjoyed it every time. Coffee wasn't great though + Kitchen was properly equipped + Many lizards on the propriety :) you decide if it's a plus or not

- Our bed / mattress felt relatively old and worn out. Unfortunately, nights were very complicated and we didn't sleep properly. - Musty smell in the apartment - The electricity went of everyday for an hour during breakfast time - Our apartment was connected to another apartment by a door. The door was locked, but you could still hear all the conversations - There was no change of towels / cleaning during 3 days, which might be expected when you're not at a hotel - Pool chairs weren't comfortable

This place was simply incredible. Wonderfully located in the hills above Puerto de la Cruz, with a view on the mountains on one side and the city and ocean below on the other. The accommodation is part of a banana plantation with fruit trees, flower beds and lizards everywhere. The houses at the property are in a rustic, traditional style and if there was no TV and wifi router, one might be in a different century all together. I absolutely loved this style. Wonderful atmosphere, quietness and kind staff. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Kitchen equipped enough for very simple meal preparation. It was easily accessible as it is near the highway exit. Check-in was also easy, we got instructions by whatsapp a day in advance. There some shops and restaurants in a walkable distance or you can drive to the bigger city in under 15 minutes. I would come again.

Beautiful building and space inside. Lovely views and gardens. Tranquil. Comfortable sofas.

Insufficient kitchen utensils e.g no sieve to drain vegetables or rice. Two ring hob. No microwave or oven. On arrival TV unplugged behind large dresser. No satellite channels. Pool empty for maintenance although at time of booking it stated was closed from 21-31 January. Dehumidifier located in main room on arrival.

the villa (separate to the finca) is a bit humid and damp
