Centrally located to the town centre. Easy access to shopping and close to the bus terminal. WiFi was good. Sebastian the host was very friendly and very helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable. Hot water and pressure was good.

Sab is very nice and helpful. We enjoyed to stay there and the location is in the center.

The location was great as close to bars, restaurants. It was also super quiet. Great size kitchens and plenty of bathrooms.

The place is a little dated which makes it feel unclean but it is super comfortable. There were children running in morning.

Sebastian, the manager, was extremely helpful. He showed me on the city map where everything in Valparaiso was located. The hostel is located in a very centralized area of historical Valparaiso. It is located half a block from Falabella Department Store and half a block from the city police station. It is located very close to many smaller markets, stores, cafes, restaurants plus and a city park and the town square. Most things are within walking distance of the hostel.

Although the port is 5 or 6 blocks away, there is no boardwalk, Malecon or beach area within walking distance of downtown Valparaiso. This was a big disappointment for me.

There's no permanent reception and no opportunities to meet people if you're a solo traveller. A good options for families though.

-Sebastian was absolutely fantastic. He allowed us to check in early and store our luggage safely on checkout whilst we spent the afternoon exploring. He also provided us with a great map of the city and advice on where to visit etc. - The shower was always hot. - It felt safe and the doors locked well. -15 minute walk from town. Lots of useful shops around and bus stop to Viña del Mar on the same street.

-We were woken to scuttling sounds from above our room. There were no dogs in the building and so we assumed this may be rats/mice. - The bathrooms needed to be cleaned thoroughly, there was mold and cobwebs. -One of the bedrooms smelt strongly of mold.

We were welcomed extremely well and got many good tips for Valpo and its surroundings. Although it was the end of the Year, it was a quiet place/street to Stay. Really nice !

The bathroom and kitchen are a bit outdated and can use a renovation. Nevertheless it got cleaned every single dag!

Good location in downtown Valparaíso with the main attractions and transport options (buses, metro and trolebus) in walking distance. The kitchen was well equipped and clean, as well as the room and the shared bathrooms. Joaquín was very welcoming and friendly, provided us with a lot of information of what to do in the area, as well as with updates on the ongoing protests. 100% recommended!
