Wunderbar 🤓eine super freundliche Vermieterin, die uns jederzeit geholfen hat, eine exzellente und ruhige Lage und ein schickes Zimmer 👍
Sie ist sehr schnell ausgekühlt und wurde mit einer Klimaanlage beheizt, die natürlich Windgeräusche verursacht. Hat den Gesamteindruck jedoch nur minimal geschmälert.

Beautiful premises with lots of local art, nicely decorated rooms, very helpful and nice staff.
The shower wasn't cleaned properly, there were hairs, presumably from the previous guest. The shower cabin had obvious grime and dirt stains.

The staff were so sweet and friendly, they went out of their way to help me find something interesting to do on my last afternoon and to help me get around after I had issues buying subway tickets. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and quiet.

Hosts! They were so kind! They waiting for us until midnight and talk by phone with our taxi driver because he had problems with address. Room had very nice climate and design, and smell was unforgettable. Thank You for this time.

The hotel itself is very nice , it’s in an old Suzhou style house in a local alley . It’s right next to an excellent food street which is not just for tourists but also frequented by locals. Close to almost all the attractions..
The couple who recently bought the hotel are very warm and welcoming people . They provided us with free drinks and given us great suggestions for visiting. They are more like friends to you other than hotel owner. By the way , they are both artist so if you want some Chinese paintings you should ask.
Before we leave they even helped us book a taxi since we didn’t have the app for taxi booking, and it was hard to call a taxi in the street, the owner went out in the rain to help load our luggage. Many thanks for that.
I strongly recommend this hotel for people who want to visit Suzhou

Madam Yang was super helpful and went out of her way to help us out. She recommended a great restaurant for dinner and made reservations for us and tried really hard to help book us a taxi for our follow on destination. Location was also great with many of the sights well within walking distance.

the place she recommend for breakfast was excellent. she also helped with a taxi. overall great service and a charming place walking distance from many sights as well as restaurants.
there were some dark long hairs in the shower that weren’t mine…

This place is very climatic, amazing atmosphere, very ecological place. Ecological and natural furniture, I like very much. the owner gave me a souvenir, hand- calligraphed and hand-painted tea cup. This location was great, Gusu district next too many historical places and speccially Master of the Nets Garden, which I love.
It was a little bit cold evening, but owner gave me some extra heater! Very nice!

Fantastic cosy tasteful designer guest house and rooms in old Gusu district. Helpful staff, access to meeting rooms and help with clothes wash.
Internet in the room is variable on and off and slow.

The location is great. Easy access to Suzhou gardens and local restaurants.
1.hygiene awareness. there are blood/mud spot on towels and sheets, previous guests left tooth brush in the drawer and they did not remove it, they do not clean the room unless you specifically tell the house owner beforehand.
2.essential supplies. no enough shower gel and tooth paste in the bottle and they did not refill it on time, the Wi-Fi will turn off when you left the room and needed to be turned on every time you renter the property.
3. noise issue. the house is not properly sound-proofed therefore guests are easily disturbed late in the night and early in the morning due to the old facilities in the neighbourhood.

This is a charming little property with fantastic design elements. The room we had was beautifully furnished and felt more like a home's bedroom than a hotel bedroom. The property owner could not have been nicer. The hotel can be a little difficult to find, and I initially got lost, but the owner found me and brought me back to the hotel. Extremely friendly service, highly recommended.
As I mentioned, the hotel can be difficult to find if you don't know your way around the area. But the owner will gladly help with that. (In fact, he'd offered to meet me at the nearest subway station, but I thought I could find it on my own.)

You need to have more dehumidifiers and change the provider of your breakfast. Even though you try to expose the foreign guest to a Chinese breakfast which a wonderful idea, you have to invest in having coffee machine.
