It was just like a regular hotel. I've stayed in the Hilton garden inn in Chengdu previously and it was a much nicer experience there. In shanghai it was just ok, Not particularly great. Location is ok if you're going to the Exhibition center, but that's about it.
In terms of the price, it is just a very regular hotel for the price, and quite far from Shanghai itself, needed to take a car everytime even just to get to the subway stations. Service was just average, room quality was not bad, but not great either. Food was just alright. Definitely a disappointment from the Hilton brand, even for the Garden Inn sub-brand. I had expected much better

The property was convenient to bars and restaurants and the room was spacious and clean. The staff was attentive to our needs.
The hotel is for from the Bund, but was not a dealbreaker.

It is very noisy from the nearby night stalls at night in the room till the stalls were closed.
When I came back to hotel at night, there are two nights with dirty face/hand towel in the bathroom and room respectively. One of the night the bed is not made up.

only drawback is location not good, away from everything even airport not close as I thought about 20 minutes by taxi, or about 45rmb. Not close to any metro

We stay here every time we travel through hongqiao airport. Always a nice stay. Clean and very comfortable. Nice rooms.

Nice sized room. Very clean. The bed is super comfy!!! The set up of the room is very nice too.
They keep keep the lobby super cold. Driving up to the hotel is always a bit of a hassle. Didi drivers never seem to know how to get in. Other than that everything is great.
