Couple of issues with the electrics which were sorted promptly, other than that good. The location means every journey starts down hill & finishes up hill. If that is not an issue enjoy the sunny balcony & good proximity to everything.

First time booking with Vrbo and it was made really easy by the host, Vera. The apartment was a very good price and looked fabulous online, with plenty of photos. Vera was very responsive to questions before & after booking. The apartment was very spacious, clean & modern. It really did have everything - fully stocked kitchen including a washing machine and dishwasher. The bedrooms were lovely (we had twin bed set up in one room) and the main bathroom was lovely. The bath was huge - didn't use as a bath but we could have fit in the 4 of us! The shower was very nice. Plenty of storage in bedrooms and main bathroom and towels provided for bathroom and beach towels. The open plan kitchen and lounge was very clean, light & airy. There was a good selection of books available to borrow. We were surprised to find the tv had main English channels plus Netflix, Amazon Prime & YouTube, which was great for the kids. The outside area was lovely & large with table & chairs & 2 loungers & some inflatables to use in the pool. There were 2 pools right near to the apartment with waterfalls. Both were lovely & had plenty of sunloungers. There was a larger pool at the adjacent complex which we were able to use (same code on gate to gain access), with reception, wifi zone, toilets & drinks/ice-creams sold. As it states in the listing, there are a number of stairs to the property so not good for people with mobility problems. Overall, we had a wonderful time - throughly recommend!

Title of rendezvous misleading should of been appartementos haciendas IV , would of liked pillow and mattress protector, fitted sheets for the beds elastic had stretched so was in a ball every morning so we're lay on mattress, Curtains in main bedroom not wide enough for total privacy, TV too small we don't normally watch tv but I myself was ill the first week, Viktoria our host was lovely,lots of steps but apart from this we would stop here again,bars shops and restaurants near by

The apartment was excellently equipped with all you would need for a comfortable stay.The patio gets sun most of the day but needs a bench cushion underneath the lounge window.If climbing steps is a problem not ideal but the location is very safe and a swimming pool is just around the corner.We found the mattress in the main bedroom is hard and could do with a mattress “topper” but overall I would stay here again

Super stay, sadly cut short by ill health. Really quiet for a central location. Every thing necessary for a stay.

The property needs an internal face lift. All the facilities need up dating, walls bedroom, living room and bathroom furniture, bedding, dishes to towels. I wish I stayed somewhere else.

We had a excellent time in this apartment as the balcony is spacious and gets the sun most of the day. The apartment would benefit from refurbishment. The location is good and close to amenities

Home from home, everything you need for your stay. Sun all day on the terrace. Very quiet complex with English supermarket at the front (2 mins). A short walk will take you to a few bars and eateries. Good communication with the owner Vera and her assistant Vicktoria met us at the gate to show us around. We will definitely return .

The booking process was so straight-forward & Vera responded really quickly to any messages. On arrival, we were met at the entrance to the complex & shown up to the front door. The next day, a new sun-lounger was brought up as there was only one on the balcony. After that, we had a brilliant time. It's in a great area behind Aqualand but not too far up the hill. There's a few really good restaurants in the area, esp Pal Choso. Check it out if you like traditional Canarian food. The apartment would benefit from a new TV as the sound from its speakers was crackling. Also, there was a power cut one night due to bad weather and the WiFi connection was awful afterwards. We felt that the living room could also do with slight cosmetic work as there's plaster peeling off the walls but it didn't affect our stay. Overall, I would recommend this apartment & look forward to returning in the future 🙂

There is a bit of a hill to climb from the main centre and some steps to negotiate on the complex which may not suit some but this was not a problem for us. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this property in the future.

Yes its a 15 minute walk down to the town and a steep climb back up but we thoroughly enjoyed the excercise and burnt off some of the extra calories from meals at lovely restaurants, we really liked Marios, fun with fabulous food reasonably priced and just around the corner by the Toby Jug an excellent Italian, It&Aly. The location at Costa Adeje was perfect for visiting the local attractions Siam Waterpark was amazing as was Loro Park definitely recommend the joint ticket for both attractions they are both Immaculate and well run. Overall thoroughly enjoyed the apartment and location and would recommend as a place to stay in Tenerife. Thank you Vera for letting us stay in your apartment, we miss it already, we're home now in England and its cold , we're going to be heading back to the sun as soon as we can.

The apartment itself met our needs and had a fantastic terrace with great views.However, the apartment had not been cleaned after home improvements prior to our arrival, this was a real shame. There is still a little tlc required in the apartment to bring it up to what could be a great apartment.

Beautiful apartment with great facilities and great location

The apartment was up quite lot of steps. Ok when you have no luggage! The property would benefit from having air conditioning. It is spacious and quite well equipped. Shower rail in larger bathroom is still hanging mostly by good luck. Would cost very little to fit a better one. The terrace is spacious. All in all we enjoyed our stay at the property but would not go in the summer due to the lack of air conditioning.

As soon as our plane landed in Tenerife I received a Whatsapp message from Maureen saying she was waiting ready in the apartment and all was ready. The apartment is in a private gated complex away from any noise or bustle. The pool is 15 meters and unused so our kids loved having it all to themselves for most of the holiday. The apartment is well stocked with everything you need for a self catering holiday. the cooker, fridge and utensils were all clean and plentiful. The wifi was great and helped the kids with their tablets. We brought our amazon firestick which also worked fine so we had good tv options if we wanted. The settee and beds were all comfortable with an abundance of spare sheets and towels for our stay. The washing machine helped with the constant use of the beach towels. The balcony was large with a lovely view of the see and sunset. We had many a glass of wine out there in the evenings as the complex and area around is so quiet. We loved our stay and will definitely recommend it to friends and use it again if we return to Tenerife. It is set back a bit so there is a lot of walking involved. We had no problem with this. We would usually stop off in the Toby Jug pub on the return to the apartment as a pit stop. The only negatives I could improve on is the main bedroom could get quite hot and stuffy and could really benefit from an air conditioner. The bath is massive but the shower rail is propped across it by will power alone as it fell down most times the children used it. A proper pole with some brackets could be so easily fitted. We loved our stay here. Tenerife never fails as a destination and this apartment made it our best stay yet.

Before our trip Vera was quick and easy to communicate with through this site. On the positive side of our 13 day stay we enjoyed the space, it had a lovely flow with a great outdoor patio with sea view; beautiful in the evening! The size was just right for our family (3 adults and 2 little ones) for this length of time. The kitchen had all the basics and it was really kind for Vera's contacts out there to buy essentials for our arrival. There were lots of stairs to get to the apartment which did not bother us, we loved the exercise, along with the perfect, little pool literally outside the door of the apartment. Great location for us and not too far from beach and some decent restaurants. The complex was also quiet at night which was just what we needed! We felt the following things need to be looked at if we were to stay there with little ones for that length of time again. The second, small shower and toilet had no extractor fan and the smell of sewage was pretty overwhelming at points. There were no fans or air conditioning so when the weather was humid (most of our stay) it was pretty warm and a little uncomfy at times. The apartment would benefit from a thorough deep clean. We have little kids and like a very clean space. Not everyone worries too much about his obviously! The contacts out in Tenerife who were meant to meet us at the apartment from the airport provided us with unclear directions to the meeting point which was actually not outside the apartments but in a car park near by and then did not bring their phone to the meeting point. It took us over 50 minutes to find the man and had to wait with our little ones at 11.00 at night outside the wrong apartments before he finally picked us up with all our luggage. Our advice would be if you arrive at the airport get very clear directions! We had no other concern during our stay.

Very good communications with Vera and Noel. On arrival we got lost and Noel was very helpful in directing us. The appartment is modern and nicely equipped. The location is nice and quiet, the only thing it is quite a steep road down to the seaside, something to be aware of if travelling with elderly as we were. Overall, good place for a reasonable price.

Hassle free booking with good communication throughout. On arrival we were met by Noel and his wife who showed us around the apartment and gave all relevant information. Apartment was lovely and spacious and very clean. Two good sized bedrooms, one en-suite with a large round bath and shower over. Second smaller shower room. Kitchen was well equipt, with dishwasher and washing machine. Free to use safe and free wifi. Terrace spacious with table and chairs and sunbeds.Small swimming pool about 15ms away, unheated but this seems to be the norm. Others on complex. About 20 min walk to beach. Bars, restaurants, supermarkets and Aqualand 10min walk away. Ample car parking nearby. Be aware there are a few steps from road to apartment. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Arriving at this apartment in Island Village was just what I needed and expected. It's was very spacious, clean and well equipped. As I was travelling alone it was well located to local shops, bars and restaurants. While only 5 minute drive (or 20 min walk) too two large shopping malls, Siam Water Park, a cinema and the beach of Puerto Colon and San Eugenio. Also, as travelling alone staying at home was indeal as it had internal access, a large patio that always gets the sun and the TV was set-up to receive the UK channels.

We have just returned from a very enjoyable weeks stay at Vera's apartment. We found the apartment to be spotlessly clean when we arrived when Noel was waiting to meet us as promised. The apatment was very quiet both during the day and at night. We especially enjoyed sitting on the large terrace which made the most of the November sun from mid morning until late afternoon. The nearest beach was Playa Pinto (Puerto Colon) which can be reached by crossing the bridge over the motorway and picking up a footpath which starts just to the left of the Hotel Villa de Adeje Beach. There are some good restaurants overlooking the beach which are reasonably priced. A bit of a climb to get back to the apartment but it helps to walk off the large portions. All in all throughly recommended.

Booked this apartment as it had good reviews and so were disappointed to find that it wasn’t very clean: Both toilets needed cleaning; toilet brushes were disgusting; lots of dirt around the bath; vanity unit had hairs in it; second bathroom smelt and had a mouldy shower curtain, and the bed sheets in the second bedroom smelt of sweat and obviously hadn’t been changed since previous guests. We cleaned the toilets and bath and changed the sheets. We then had problems with the cooker and so called Noel to sort it out, also pointing out the issues with cleanliness. Noel said that the dirty bed might have been due to a workman sleeping in it who still had the keys to finish some work on the balcony! We also complained to Vera but she said we should have inspected the apartment on arrival and pointed out any problems for Noel to sort out. Noel brought us a new cooker and changed the lock on the front door for an old one which was very difficult to use. We then made the terrible mistake of using the washing machine which made holes in several of our clothes (we’d noticed similar holes in the sheets on the beds but hadn’t realised the cause). Again we complained to Noel - another visit with an engineer, and then to replace it. To compensate for all the problems and the ruined clothes we asked for E300 back from the rent for our 2-week stay, but Vera refused to give us more than E100 for the clothes, and had the audacity to accuse of us of simply trying to get a discount. She also implied that the problems with the cooker and washing machine had only started during our stay (not true – previous reviewer had complained about cooker + bed sheets already covered in holes). Her attitude was – no one’s complained before, you’ve had problems, I’ve fixed them, so don’t moan. Other problems included a broken window in the master bedroom which was screwed shut (meaning that it got very hot and stuffy as only one window opened), the over-bath shower which completely flooded the floor every time you used it, and the balcony door where one of the metal door catches had broken off meaning it wasn’t completely secure. We also found it quite noisy, with the apartment opposite often playing loud music with thumping base during the day and until to 3 o’clock in the morning on a couple of occasions, and a yappy dog barking throughout the night on the other side. All in all not a great experience. Shame we can't post photos of the problems like with other sites.
