Tim & Bernadette were wonderful; close enough if needed and provided maps and recommendations for excursions, pubs, etc. Glad we had a car for Ring of Kerry excursion and Tim’s suggestions were spot on!
Only sad to leave.

We truly enjoyed returning to the priory cottage after exploring several idyllic Irish towns. Bernadette welcomed us so warmly and their sweet pup Teddy was always there to greet us at our door in the morning. Being so close to Killarney center and St.Marys Cathedral was a big plus. We recommend a stay here for sure and we hope to return soon!

10/10 recommend staying here. The property is beautiful and located close (but not too close) to the center of Killarney. Owners were very friendly and helpful. They have a couple of cute dogs who walk around throughout the day.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the cottage — its space and location. It was an ideal base camp for adventures throughout Kerry & Cork counties. Tim provided written instructions to several off the beaten path treasures. We walked multiple times day to downtown and biked through the National park. After a days adventure and before heading out to the pub at nite we cozied up on the couch with a peat fire and a warm blanket. Will be lucky to stay here again! Thank you!

Great central location for visits to SW Ireland; walkable to downtown Killarney; easy checkin/out; appropriate amenities in kitchen and baths; comfortable beds.

We had a lovely family stay. Tim and Bernadette were very welcoming and gave us great information about the nearby hikes. Torc mountain was really beautiful and we had a great time discovering Killarney's town.

Both Tim and Bernadette were so welcoming and helpful during the whole week. We met the family dogs, Teddy and Maize which was the highlight of my kids' trip. Teddy would bark at our door during dinner to come in and visit. We lost our dog back in May, so these visits were so fun for us. The courtyard is absolutely gorgeous!
We had more than enough room for the 4 of us. The beds were very comfortable, and having the 2 bathrooms was convenient. Having the kitchen was wonderful. We bought our groceries for the week at Matco, a gas station that has a Centra in it. Many fresh food options -we have food allergies and easily found things to cook. It was VERY nice to have a washer and dryer on site, as it rained everyday. We did not rent a car on our stay, but were able to walk everywhere. It is the perfect middle point between the city and the national park. One day we rented bikes and toured the whole national park, which was one of our favorite things. My kids are 19 and 21, so the walks into town were just fine for us. One day my husband and I took the path Bernadette showed us, and were able to walk to the Ross Castle. We explored the city, shopped, and experienced the different pubs Bernadette recommended. We hired a driver for 2 days to explore other day trips. We made our 1st peat fire ever, which helped us stay toasty warm. There isn't cable TV, but pack some DVDs as there is a player. We used the Wifi to stream our own entertainment by the fire. A wonderful place to stay!

So cozy and warm, the property is beautiful and just what you want when visiting County Kerry. We had our 2 year old with us and there was lots for him to do outside and explore. Hosts were fantastic! Very welcoming and responsive. Highly recommend a stay here.

We loved this vacation rental! Bernadette welcomed us and gave a great briefing including some restaurant recommendations. She also showed us where to help ourselves to both filtered water and SPARKLING water on tap! The home is cozy and had everything we needed. Nice hot shower. Convenient to the center of Killarney and close to the national park and Muckross House. We stayed four nights of our seven-night vacation and wished we had had stayed there the entire time - so much to see.
Highlights of the area included exploring Skellig Michael, walking the Gap of Dunloe, and climbing Torc Mountain (a workout!)

The home is exactly as advertised. It is clean, spacious, very comfortable, and a great location. Water pressure and temperature were great, appliances were good quality. It is private yet close to town. This was our teens favorite place to stay on out of 5 places we stayed on our trip. (They liked the loft) Knowing we had a washer and dryer made our pack light. Loved being able to access fresh cold drinking water from outside tap. It rained a lot during our time but we were prepared, and felt cozy upon return to house. We never had a fire in the fireplace but loved that we could if we wanted to. Thank you Tim and Bernadette(and house pups too!)

We loved everything about our stay. Some of the highlights were:
1. Teddy and Maizie(dogs) they escorted us to our door and we loved them so much. The owners said not to let them in the VRBO but it was tough to say no.
2. The water spickets outside. Best water ever. Still and sparkling. This made our whole group happy. It was delightful.
3. The location of this VRBO is perfect. You can walk to town to eat or shop.
4. We fell in love with Killarney and definitely planning a return trip.

Excellent. Great helpful hosts. Great property. Comfortable beds. Super clean bathrooms. All the comforts of home. Nicer than hotels we have been staying at. Comfortable beds ( needing to say it again). Beautiful grounds. Would book again and highly recommend.

Full of surprises. Charming layout, not too far from town.
Hosts were very helpful, --clothes dryer was a problem--sure it's corrected by now.

Bernadette & Tim were terrific! The cottage was beautiful with all the comforts of home. Location location location!!! We were able to walk to the town of Killarney (or easy drive), 5-7 minute walk to Killarney Brewing Company, which has delicious pizza. 10 minute drive to Killarney Golf & Fishing Club,, you can ask for Eugene (extremely helpful)
I can’t say enough about The Priory, it was stunning.
It was a very easy drive over to Inch beach, Dingle, Ring of Kerry, Sneem and Kenmare.
I’ll be returning October 2023!!! Look forward to every minute.
Huge thank you to Bernadette, you and your family made our trip extra special.
Best regards,
Sheila

The cottage was the perfect blend of traditional and contemporary. A perfectly spacious modern kitchen and bath coupled with brick, stone, and wood finishes. A 15-20 minute walk took us to downtown Killarney, but we were tucked away in a private courtyard. The woodstove kept us cozy and warm when the temperatures dipped in the evening. We had easy access to Killarney National Park and all of its attractions. A priceless experience.

Great stay at the Priory. Charming location.

If you have the opportunity to stay here, do! Immaculate. Plenty of room for 8 yet cozy for 4. Charming inside and out . Close to town yet far enough away to be peaceful. We loved the peat stove. The owners offered great travel suggestions and were most accommodating to our canceled plane that had mucked up our arrival. Cannot wait to return.

Lovely property near everything we wanted to do. Very quiet day and night for relaxing. Restaurants and pubs within walking distance. All family commented how comfortable all the beds were. One downside was no bathroom upstairs so anyone bunking there has to come down the spiral staircase at night.

We stayed in Teach Mór in August and it was exactly how it was advertised. Very clean with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Location was perfect ..easy walk to town and short drive to Muckross house. We were a party of seven including one wheelchair user and two young kids and Teach Mór was perefct for us.

Spent a week here with my wife and 4 college age kids. We had plenty of room. It was a short walk to the city center and the park. Would consider again for any future visits.

Our stay at Teach Mor was everything we hoped for and more. The setting at The Priory is beautiful, private and relaxing. It is within easy walking distance of the town centre and perfectly located for exploring the major sights in and around Killarney. It is the perfect retreat to return to after a busy day of sight-seeing. The house is so clean, spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. We are already planning our return trip to Teach Mor in 2022. Thank you to Bernadette for all her help and recommendations for our first trip to Killarney. We look forward to seeing you and Tim next year.

We had a lovely time in Killarney. The priory is very well situated for the National parks as well as the town. We hardly used our car apart from a tour of the Beara peninsula and a trip to Inch beach. We felt restored after a long lockdown. Thank you Bernadette and Tim.

This is a truly amazing property! A little gem of a find! We had a wonderful stay and can only describe it as Home away from Home! We loved that we could bring our little pet dog and she got on great with the owners 2 dogs who were beautiful friendly dogs. The owners Tim and Bernadette were an absolute pleasure and so helpful and friendly. Our house was amazing! Lots of space and so well stocked with condiments, family games, CDs and DVDs. Theres an abundance of cut turf to help yourself to for the log burner and theres even Spring and Sparkling water taps outside! The courtyard is beautifully done with an abundance of flowers and colour! Couldn't recommend highly enough and will definitely be our first choice of accommodation next time we visit Killarney!
