From the check-in to the check-out this was an amazing experience. Dimitris, his wife and nephews will make sure that you feel like you're right at home and will make sire that you get whatever you ask for within reason. Lovely rooms, beautiful pool, warm Jacuzzi, delicious and rich breakfast. Plenty of sights to see all around and if necessary Dimitris will guide you to the proper people/ companies if you want to do any other activity.

The moment we arrived at the property we felt welcomed and at home. Our room was incredible and our private hot tub was an great addition to our stay. Everything was super clean and considered. Dimitri and his family were always there to help us with anything we needed. They offer booking experiences for your stay and can organise pretty much anything for you at the drop of a hat. Breakfast was delicious and every morning we received something different. There is also a Bar and Restaurant which we do recommend trying. We loved it so much that we had 2 dinners and a lunch there. Dimitri makes a great cocktail! We have been travelling for the last 3 months and this has been the best place we have stayed. Hopefully we can come back someday.

We were lucky to spend a long weekend with Dimitris, the owner and our host @Amara Suites, Kamari, Santorini. He is the best. Great team, first Dimitris and his wife, She is the best chef in town, he’s the best host - a combination of kindness, perfect personality and professional host and a bar man. Rooms are brand new and clean, and once you leave the room in the AM the staff is cleaning it with no delay. The pool is very clean, accessible and available and is inviting. The food is delicious. Breakfast is big and tasty, and includes everything, in different flavors. The homemade cakes are better than in a French bakery. Location wise, Amara suites is located 180 seconds walk from the Kamari vibrant beach and promenade. No need of a car or a bike, not for immediate environment that includes 50 gift shops and 120 cafes and restaurants, all well designed and lighten at night. And it is 7 min drive from the airport. Very convenient, and between 15-30 min drive from the other beautiful villages like Oia, Fira and more. As I said, great location. It was very nice to be back to the hotel and meet Dimitris on the Bar, like he has been waiting for us. On our check in we arrived early, and a bit sick … Dimitris took care of us, let us rest by the pool (comfortable bed and mattresses) and even tough our room was ready to check in he smartly didn’t wake us up, and let us rest while preparing us delicious fruit plate. We will be back and recommend everyone to. Enjoy your stay!

The breakfast was extremely tasty, the hotel is very beautiful, the owner think at all the details, Dimitris is so funny and worry for the gests. I definitely will come back on the next trip to santorini

This is a unique location situated in beautiful Kamari, away from the hustle & bustle of Fira and Oia, but yet very accessible to each corner of Santorini. A family run business, Amara Suites has everything to offer by Dimitri and family. From the moment you arrive you will receive an extraordinary Greek welcome that will make you feel instantly at home. The whole team that run the property must be commended for the level of attention to detail that they offer. From home-cooked meals, to luxurious accommodation, you will find it hard to leave the property and explore the island! But, when you do, you’ll enjoy the beach and town of Kamari which is just a stone’s throw away. Thank you!

There isn’t anything not to like!

The place was beautiful, a family run business and you can tell from the passion each family member had and wanting to make your stay is a great one. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was one of the best if not the best I have ever has. Celine was lovely serving every morning. Lunch well who doesn't love handcut chips! I'd recommend the Club sandwich. George, worked on the bar greeted us with a lovely warm smile and loved the chats ever day. Dimitrios the owner never stopped and knew ever guest name, preferred beverage and made sure no one wanted for anything. Organising our quad bikes, boat trips and recommendations on what to do and where to go. The ladies in the kitchen thank you! Location is perfect near the beach, shops and only a short distance to Fira and Oia

I'd change nothing

Everything. The room was spacious, clean, comfy and just stunning. The pool area was relaxing and quiet. The food was full of flavour, we really enjoyed every meal! We looked forward to getting back and enjoying some cocktails by the pool every evening too. We were really taken care of from the moment we walked through the doors. It was a first class experience throughout. Something we have never had before with all inclusive large hotels. They took us in and made mine and my partners time so special. It was everything we needed and more.

I genuinely have nothing bad to say. I can not wait to come back.

Breakfast was amazing - freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, croissants, cake, fresh bread, eggs, feta and spinach pie and more! The beds were very comfortable and the decor was simple but stylish. The room had everything you expect from a great hotel but was also spotlessly clean. Dmitri was always available to help organise any transfers (with good air conditioning!), a fantastic boat trip with Santorini Star, winery trip to Santo Winery, we felt very well looked after! We often ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant and my children loved the meals at Amara more than anywhere else - Elena is a fantastic cook! Kamari is also only a few minutes walk away for many bars, restaurants and water sports. We enjoyed stand up paddle boarding on the beach.

Everything was perfect. Confortable room, super clean, amazing pool, good food, wonderful reception from Dimitri and his family staff :) We had to work a bit and make some calls and the Wi-Fi was perfect.

Cocktails could be better.

The hotel with the beautiful pool and the rooms with jacuzzi are a dream and we can’t wait to visit Amara again. Dimitris welcomed us every day with a happy smile and his great charisma, Eleni prepared wonderful food for us, she is the best chef on Santorini. George has great cocktail skills and with his fun talks at the bar we had the best time ever. Dimitris can also help with transport to or from the airport or to rent a car, which is cheaper than via the airline or travel agency. Also fantastic boat trips can be organized, including swimming, sunsets and dinner on board.

It was really hard to leave, book two weeks instead of one.

Amazing place! Demitri and his family are so welcoming and accommodating. The atmosphere is really relaxing, beautiful cosy layout & spotlessly clean. 5 minute walk to the beach. The breakfast is unreal, Demitri's wife is a fantastic chef. Having your own jacuzzi on the balcony just makes it that much more special. So glad we stayed here instead of Fira or Oia, as it's more relaxed and romantic, away from all the hussle and bustle, but also close enough to visit the main areas (we hired a scooter). We had such a lovely honeymoon here, thank you!

What an amazing vacation in Amara Suites Santorini!! The owner Dimitris and his (Amara)-family will do anything to make sure you have an incredible and relaxed vacation. - Your coffee, each day, is made by Dimitri with a lot of love. - Your breakfast, which is amazing prepared by Dimitri's wife, is served every morning with a very big smile. - Lunch and dinner, if you want to take it, are more than delicious!! - Your drinks at the bar are served by the son, and he does it with the right Greek-flair! - Your room (and the whole hotel) is very clean, thanks to the hard work of the cleaning-ladies. This is a small hotel, but it is worth it! We will definitely come back!

Absolutely nothing!! This was the relaxed vacation my friend and I needed. The whole staff of Amara Suites deserve a very big trophy for all their efforts!!

This is a newly renovated property, with a lovely boutique feel. The property was furnished to a high standard. Everything was clean and not a speck of dust in sight. Very nice location and ambience.

The friendly family atmosphere was so welcoming and the rooms were beautiful and modern and extremely clean!

Nothing was too much for Dimitri and Eleni! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like it was our own home. The breakfasts were simply exceptional - and huge; we didn't have to eat again till dinner every day. The room exceeded our expectations - spacious, impeccably clean; we slept so well and were able to fully recharge. This is a true gem; I cannot recommend Amara Suites any more highly - and Kamari is a fantastic place to base yourself away from the crowds of Oia and Fira. We will absolutely be back. Thank you Dimitri and Eleni (and children!) for making us so welcome.

It is located in a very quiet area, 2min walking from the beach. The pool and jacuzzi were spot on. The room and bathroom are very big. Breakfast was delicious, lunch and dinner too. It is a place where you can definitely relax and recharge, everything was so beautiful.

Everything about the space is absolutely gorgeous. From the hospitality of the hosts to the food to the interior design and beyond… everything is five stars. The location is ideal being only a stones throw from all the restaurants, bars and shops. The rooms are amazing and so clean and have everything you could possibly need including smart tv, mini fridge and gorgeous balconies with private hot tubs! We have already started planning a return trip with our friends and family. Thanks again to Dimitri and family for an amazing visit. We can’t wait to come back !

Modern and spacious rooms with great looking grounds. The hotel is run by the owners, Eleni and Dimitri, who are extremely friendly and make an amazing home made breakfast. The pool area is very comfortable with lounge chairs. The hotel is convenient for a chillax holiday beside the pool as well as a base for touring.

My fiancé & I spent two nights at Amara suites & wow, what an incredible experience! We were warmly greeted by the owner, Dimitri, who had gone to the effort of preheating our jacuzzi prior to arrival & preparing us a fresh fruit platter. Our suite was very clean, spacious & beautifully designed, we were not disappointed. The hosts, Dimitri & Eleni, went above & beyond to ensure we had the best stay. They prepared us excellent breakfasts, great cocktails & even tastier dinners. Amara suites has a lovely vibe, with a great pool area for chilling & relaxing. We have already booked our second visit & can’t wait to return at the end of May.

Exceptional family run hotel, everybody was friendly and helpful particularly the owner. His wife and daughter cooked amazing meals and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. Lovely, comfortable rooms.
