The property had an up to date feel to them. The lounge for casual gatherings was a nice feature. Having a breakfast-lunch restaurant attached made for a quick start.

The king bed room was very tight on space. Having a suitcase stand would have helped, too.

windows - all the time condensation is running down the windows, no heat barrier so for the person sleeping close to the window in the winter, it gets chilly. Our room was an 2nd floor, close to the Social/ Game room and we could not sleep before 11 because of the partying going on in there.

Since the last visit in 2023 this hotel has only gotten better. They are paying attention to details that make customers stay better. The popcorn and games room is a nice fun family or team touch. The bathroom is clean and the shower has a water head and hand held that makes it easy for everyone and the mirrors are perfect for make up application. Beds are super comfy, not soft and linens - wonderful. Staff have been cheerful and helpful from day one. No execeptions. They have just opened a Diner Restaurant that is fun and super convenient! Not too far from town - this is great value, with a retro inspired hotel. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The suite bedroom lighting could use a dimmer.

Room was so big and clean. Hotel front dest staff was kind and she explained the amenities kindly. Especially, we really like the recreation room on the robby!!

The rooms are updated. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Heated mirror. Access to netflix, youtube through roku. Fridge and microwave.

The only thing not liked was the cold tile floor. It is a bit slick when entering the room and cold when coming out of the shower. Single pane windows make the room cool but closing the blinds helped. Room could use more soft lighting.

Great option in Victoria. Clean, comfortable with large, modern rooms, plenty of free parking. Friendly staff. Has a modern vide, the games room is a nice touch as was the free afternoon pop corn and a good size swimming pool to take a dip in. More than happy with our stay, would stay again.

Evening food options are limited, there's an adjoining pub nearby but doesn't allow kids, otherwise plenty of take out options or eateries in the area but all require a short drive away, nothing walkable. As for the hotel itself, no complaints at all.

Great value. Super nice room. Very modern with the touches of art deco. Great location to downtown. Cafe for coffee and breakfast in the lobby. Hecklers pub at front was convenient and good.

Rooms were comfortable. The kitchenette was an added bonus. Cleanliness was good. Staff very friendly. The hotel 'old style', was well kept.

The re was no iron and ironing board in the room.

No free breakfast. Staff cleaning the elevator didn’t have a uniform… did not know he was staff. Also, it would be more romantic if there were more flowers outside … I looked out the window and all I could see was the big dumpster and bricks… need to make it feel more visually appealing. Love the workout gym room. Thank you so much

There should be more suites that did not have pets in it for those with allergies…. Better scenic outdoors decor and flowers. When you look out the windows… the big garbage dump should not be the focal thing to see. Tthere should be a big pot of flowers or some nice shrubs or garden to look at all around. Otherwise… the beds are very comfortable.

This hotel was lovely. The room was very clean with some nice features in the room, like the amazing rain head shower, a heated mirror and high-end shampoo, conditioner and body lotion products. The beds were super comfortable, and the room was quiet, safe and located 15 minutes from Victoria's city centre. For the money, this is a great hotel. Would absolutely stay here again.

Wish the downstairs cafe was open in the evening.

It was an older hotel that has been refurbished, the games room was a nice touch, played some ping pong with my son and the on-site cafe’ was very good and convenient.

It would have been nice to have a balcony off the room.

Very quiet room and comfortable bed. Best pillows I have ever had in a hotel. The shower was lovely with a rainfall shower head. We were upgraded to a suite, which was very roomy. There is a cafe on site open 7 to 3pm, I believe, which was very handy.

We didn't see any ice or drink machines and were frankly too tired at the time to ask or to trek to the beer and wine store to get.

Amazing location to Victoria centre. Added bonus was the heated swimming pool.

Very friendly service! Building is older but rooms are completely renovated and super clean. Location is close to downtown Victoria. Although there's no vending machine, you could find bottled water and pop etc in the liquor store attached to the hotel.

The rooms were nice and cleaned. Equipped with all your needs. Staffed were extremely nice.

The location was good but lots of homeless people around. My kids were scared. Also the hallway was stuffy need better ventilation.

Just they don’t clean everyday . Just they remove trash and put towel . Pillow was thick . And I ask them for thinner one they didn’t has.

Really Modern and clean. Had a great community room, pool and gym. Very friendly personnel.

Breakfast selection was good. Staff was courteous and smiled like the sunshine! When we wanted extra blanket or toothbrush, the house keeping team was quick to deliver. Wifi access was good. We liked the in room coffee maker. The check in and check out was efficient. Thanks for the services.

The walls were thin, next room was loud. Also the shower wand is too high!
