Wife wife and I booked Don Valley after flying out for a wedding and loved every minute. The room was perfectly sized and had everything we needed. The pool was just what we needed after having days out and about.

Certain areas of the hotel could have done with a bit of TLC

Location was great

The hallways and elevator lobbies on each floor were dirty. I realize this is an old building and in sorry need of an expensive renovation and regular daily maintenance is expensive, but as a guest for the price paid this was disappointing.

No hot tub, only one power outlet in room, poor pillow quality, towels rough not soft, people smoking pot right outside main entrance so it smelled like skunk as soon as you exit. Saunas in change rooms making quality couple time in those impossible, parking was insufficient and confusing

NO heat was broken, tub at water under it and moved back and forth.

the heated floor in the washroom, the bed was comfortable, the room was spacious.

there was very mixed communication from the staff, confusion about checking in, there was some water damage happening while we were there (significant odour), and we noticed some ceiling damage in our room

Location was good . Bistro bar was excellent

Room seemed to be worn and in need of paint. Had to pay for parking Someone had a dog barked all night.

Tv was working off and on. The toilet was flushing slowly Beds were hard and 1 small pillow. No parking. Old decor.

The room was nice, bed was comfy and hotel was quiet. Heated floor in the bathroom was nice too.

The sliding door was very dirty in the room. The heater was broken in the pool so it was freezing. Went to try the sauna in the women's changeroom and there was a band aid on the seat. Was not aware I had to pay extra for parking.

we’ve stayed at Toronto Don Valley several times. It’s a very convenient location and the price is right.

This time we were given a room on the first floor. The hall smelled of cigarettes and the room was like an ice box! We turned up the heater and it eventually warmed up. Bed was comfortable and sheets were clean, but we almost felt like we were in a different hotel than previous visits.

hotel should really be a motel .. dated decor with peeling wallpaper, no duvet covers on the duvets, dated ac which is noisy, no fridge or safe heated bathroom floors which is about the only + for this property , parking is ample and $11 a day, location is great , shame about the stay & the fact I have a charge on my card they can’t explain and I have to wait 14 days for it to be refunded by my bank :(
