the room and hotel was mostly clean. The breakfest was decent.
The front desk attendant that checked us in tried to keep our change when we paid cash. We pointed out that the receipt he handed us and the total we gave him didn't match. He told us if we didn't like it we could go somewhere else. The attendant that worked the morning shift and the manager were both very nice and gave us our change back. Also the carpets in our room were dirty and there was hair all over the bath tub.

Nothing they charged me $58 dollars for a pet fee for a support dog. They then told me they are allowed to do that in the state of Washington. I also payed a $100 deposit never returned the fee. I cleaned the room and made sure there was zero damage and the room was spotless. I took video after upon leaving. I also had to pay extra $15 because the dryer barely worked. The Staff was so rude.

My husband and I arrived for our 2 night stay at the La Quinta hotel on October 18th around 3:45pm. When I went to check into my reservation which was made through Booking.com, I was information my reservation had been cancelled due to apparently “not having a card on file” which is impossible because I wouldn’t have been able to make the reservation without a card. The front desk agent, however, was able to remake our reservation and match the price (which I appreciated). She checked us into room 217 that was marked as clean in the system, but when we went upstairs, the room door was cracked open. When we opened the door, the most foul, disgusting smell I’ve ever smelled came pouring out of the room so my husband and I immediately went back to the desk to get a new room.
The manager happened to be standing there this time and called the housekeeping staff to confirm. They lied and said it was clean, then immediately changed their answer and said it was BEING cleaned at that moment (which was not possible because we had only been at the desk for a few minutes). The manager tried to offer us the same smelly room once they finished cleaning but we declined and asked for another room; there was no way that smell was coming out of that room after just one cleaning.
They checked us into a second room (221) and we had a conference to get to so we quickly changed our clothes, but before leaving for the evening, I checked the sheets on the bed and found a stain. That was the last straw for me. I took a picture (time stamped 4:30pm) and we gathered our belongings and went BACK to the front desk. We spoke directly with the manager this time and told him we’d like to check out and cancel our 2 night stay because our experience within the last hour was not a good one. He tried to say we were in the room for over an hour, which was another lie because we had barely been at the hotel itself for an hour.

Not much. We have stayed here several times in the past but things have changed, and not for the best.
Where do I start.
1. Dog poop area so covered in poop my dogs would not enter.
2. A large black hair hanging on the towels. I have pix.
3. A hole in the floor in the bathroom. I have pix.
4. The worst breakfast ever. Imagine scrambled eggs the consistency of shreadded wheat.
5. Texting me with news that dogs are $30/ night after I paid the basic non refundable room rental.
6. Texting me with news that I would be charged $100 (refundable in up to seven days), room damage deposit.
7. The only chair was a very uncomfortable desk chair.
8. Front desk staff with limited English language skills.
9. No Kleenex in the room

Location
The room was a mess needs paint there where stains on the carpet. Elevator felt like a death trap one time going up to the 3rd floor it want all the way up then didn't let us out and back down to the first floor. My key card demagnetized 2 times I've never had that happen at any hotel every. The stay seemed very annoyed when I had to have my key card redone the 2nd time.

I have stayed here multiple times over the past few years, and overall usually enjoy the entire experience.
I didn't dislike anything in particular, however the staff I dealt with this time was very busy and in turn not as welcoming/friendly as they have been at the location in the past.

It wasn’t the cleanest, the pool was to open at 10:00 but was still locked. The breakfast the 1st morning didn’t have a lot of choices , no juices & more

Only thing that was disappointing was the cost. Too expensive. Just because other events are happening doesn't make a hotel better and worth more than normal.

Very dirty and low quality. The smallest tv with no channels. Just an icky place to stay. outdoor nasty pool was closed and no hot tub. Next time I’ll stay next door at the holiday express.

The toilets in the hotel room were small and short. I waited 10 minutes to check out because the front desk was unmanned.

The staff seem to be new to their jobs. But all worked out well. I registered for a King bed room and somehow ended up in a room with 2 queen beds. I believe it was to be closer to my sister’s room.
The beds are not comfortable, seriously slagging in the middle.

I especially liked the two front desk girls. One named Isabella, and the Pretty one with glasses. Both of them went above and beyond to make my stay the best possible. Thx you two I will be booking again soon.
One of the front desk females, she was older and kept double charging me and it didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. And guess who cleared it all up. The younger girls that have less experience but a hard work ethic and are willing to take a min to help you.

we have stayed here for years and I noticed that there was a great reduction in staff, only one small trash bag in bathroom only, condiments were smaller, the fitted sheet kept coming loose and no mattress protection so it felt dirty. went to check out and no front desk staff.

It was very clean. Counter staff were so kind, personable, helpful. The address my granddaughter and acknowledge her presence.
