Why do they need me to check in twice. Once when I arrive and once when our room was available.

Que hoy día no se puede encontrar apenas con el glamour o la historia de un lugar, es un sitio espetacular con una atención del personal precaria… para un lugar 5 estaño llega a tener todos los servicios adecuados para una estancia 5’estrellas, muchas ocasiones pareces tener que pelear con el personal que parece estar harto de su trabajo y parece que te están haciendo un favor .

There are few places to sit and rest in common areas. On the bravo you have to pay hundreds of dollars per hour in order to sit on a chair.

Old, not clean carpet smell bad the bed smell and uncomfortable everything old coffee machine doesn’t work  and too noisy you can hear next door room and noise coming from the ceiling as well  doesn’t worth the money 

Beach, navy proximity, location

Barking dogs 24hrs/day in hotel, screaming children early in the morning heard across hallways, very poor signage/service at the market cafe, rude staff at Sheerwater Restaurant , room that smelled of cigarette smoke, had to request repair on our TV, request the promised water bottles, gray colored water coming out of sink, tub/shower that wouldn’t drain, poor water pressure.

It is fine to charge so much for the stay in this very nice place and house, but the hotel overdoes it with the extra charges. After all, the quality is not as brilliant as the price.

Room was clean , location was good.

Room we stayed in needs updating/ renovations. Walpaper peeling, and carpeting worn out with musty smell in room.

The location

Location was spectacular.

The pool was incredibly small, and not nearly large enough with enough chairs to accommodate all the guests. There was absolutely nothing special about the pool area or the facilities themselves. The hotel is very old, not well kept up, the carpet was old, and the rooms were not well appointed. For example, the chair that went with the desk in my room was far too short to accommodate someone who wanted to sit at the desk, and use a laptop. The room was dark, the carpet was old, the bathroom facilities were old, for $800 a night You should expect a premium experience. I will never stay at the hotel, Del Coronado again.

The hotel is beautiful and the location was amazing.

Customer service could not have cared less about an issue that we experienced with a bill discrepancy. They were aggressive and unhelpful.

The location and the Victorian style hotel

Extremely over priced for what you get. It’s nice to visit the hotel and enjoy the unique Victorian style architecture but not to stay.

did not like the breakfast option. Could ONLY get buffet and no menu option

The room on Booking said Patio and balcony I did have a balcony but it was not oceanfront to it was facing sideways not head on to the beach. When I checked in I told her that and she was like no Ocean front available you have to pick ocean front not ocean view. a little deceptive?

After I came home they added fees I had paid for on booking I have had no response from them?
