Beautiful room

There was a bunch of bugs in the bed which left welts all over my feet, ankles and hairline. I killed several and left them on the coverlet. I contacted the property about the situation but there was no response.

Free laundry was a bonus plus - loved that, though we unexpectedly did a load with a dishwasher tablet instead of laundry soap because the products weren't labeled. Bed was super comfortable and the tub was a treat. Quiet property. Historic building.

SO. MANY. EMAILS! Oh my God - this property is apparently run by some kind of company and they email you CONSTANTLY in advance of the stay. And each of the emails appears to contain the same information as the previous, so you don't know which one to keep and which to delete. In one case, I was emailed information and then emailed again requesting immediate confirmation of receipt of previous email. AND THEN, emailed again requesting confirmation of their COVID protocols - which seemed absurd because we were checking in that day. Parking is also an issue. The website clearly indicates that parking is available for guests. But, it is available only for SOME guests. We were lucky and happened to be visiting on a weekend, when apparently overnight parking is not monitored. But woe to those staying on a weeknight! Finally - the company managing this property could label their buildings more effectively. It is confusing to find which of the buildings you're supposed to enter. And while we were stumbling around lost, another guests happened to be going to his car and helped us out because he had also been confused. And while he was helping us, another set of guests arrived and was also confused. So, check in could be better.

Very comfortable spacious room with great windows and it felt airy and bright. Really nice.

The bed is getting a bit soft. Two pillows had that old pillow smell.

Very comfortable and convenient suite. Very clean. Well located in St-John. Perfect for family.

The suite was clean and everything expected was provided.

Reception was not very willing to help with our concerns involving the Internet access There are many things we were not of informed of such as a parking fee and no elevator in the building. When asked for a call the day we left that did not happen.

everything was as advertised. it was like staying in a new property but with old world charm and history

parking was difficult. I understand they have space limits but if spaces were angled next time they are painted it would be better. also drive has frightening drop on one edge that needs a guardrail.

The room was spacious with a beautiful bathtub and big bed. Charming furniture.

Large and well located

The decor was not to everybody’s taste but hey that’s life. It had character and a funky charm

Perfect location for walking around the area

Excellent location to market, waterfront, shops, restaurants!!! Free laundry facilities was a nice bonus. Dishwasher was very handy as well.

Room was a little outdated and smaller than what we expected. It was clean though and that is important to us
