Lage zum Flughafen ist praktisch. Da wir einen 7 Uhr Flug hatten, konnten wir die Nacht nicht in New York verbringen und wollten einer durchfrorenen Nacht am Flughafen entgehen. Der Shuttle-Service lief problemlos.

Als wir einchecken wollten, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es keine Zimmer mehr gäbe und die Reservierung über booking.com nicht eingegangen sei. Dies allerdings sehr unfreundlich. Nachdem wir über eine Dreiviertelstunde mit der Kundenhotline vom booking.com mit einer freundlichen und kompetenten Mitarbeiterin telefoniert haben, geschah ein Wunder und ein zuvor besetztes Zimmer wurde anscheinend doch frei #ironieoff Dann wurde zunächst gesagt, dass die Zahlung noch nicht abgeschlossen sei und unsere Kreditkarte benötigt wird. Nach mehrmaligen Zeigen der Buchungs- und Zahlungsbedingungen bekamen wir dann unsere Zimmerkarten mit einem ganz "netten" Spruch. Nach über einer Stunde Wartezeit in der Lobby und bei einem Zimmerpreis von knapp 320€ für eine Nacht hätte ich etwas mehr Feingefühl und evtl. eine Ermäßigung oder andere kleine Annehmlichkeiten erwartet, da der Fehler offensichtlich auf Hotelseite lag. Zudem hätte eine Stunde mehr Schlaf auch nicht geschadet, die wir dort verloren haben. Ach ja, W-Lan gibt es in der Lobby aber im Zimmer nur für ausgewählte Mitglieder des Hotels. Falls wir jemals wieder nach Newark müssen, wird es garantiert eine andere Unterkunft oder doch der kalte Flughafen.

The cleanliness of my room could’ve been significantly better. Unfortunately, I did not receive room service during my stay. But the room wasn’t necessarily clean when I checked Tom. I noticed this the day after. The bathroom in particular was not clean. There were hairs in the shower and faucet that did not belong to me. I understand housekeeping staff have their work cut out for them to meet the demands of a large hotel. But there’s an understandable expectation to provide a clean hotel room to any guest that checks in.

our valid Booking. com reservation could not be found. After a 30 minute wait at the reception new booking was made on the spot. Now we are charged twice for the room. In calling the hotel's accounting department we get a recording "the mailbox is full"!!!

Hotel is a little tired

Location close to airport, service in lobby bar very good. Shuttle on time and convenient.

Room not clean (esp washroom). Washroom old. Lobby bar closed too early (last call at 10:30). Staff at front desk not that friendly. A bit pricey for what you get.

Older hotel and not suitable for the elderly. Longer walks to rooms. Breakfast was mediocre . Restaurant was Ok but nothing special. Only one of the desk personal was able to supply me with the correct information of how to get the Amtrak, via Shuttle and AirTrain. Much too long to navigate for the elderly.

Room temperature was nice because it was easy to regulate. Bed was excellent.

The restaurant. I stay in a hotel with a restaurant so I don't need to go out. I travel and am tired when I reach the hotel. I want a good relaxing meal. The restaurant in this hotel is not good and I will choose another hotel next trip for that reason.
