The location is great.

There was a big construction behind the hotel. If I knew, I wouldn’t book this hotel. It was not peaceful for us. The price is high for only room. No pool or other additional things.

The room and hotel itself were lovely. Had we known about the noise, we wouldn’t have stayed here.

Loud construction not mentioned when booking or checking in. Started at 7am. We were first floor so right opposite it. Ruined our relaxing stay as we left exhausted.

Room was large with a living room, 1 bedroom, also had a mini fridge and microwave which helps a lot when you have a kid. Location was great with shops near by, the harbor 1 block away and Beacon Hill park just 10mins walk.

I selected the Family room and had the option to get city view or harbor view. I paid the extra money to get the harbor view, but the view was not what I expected. My room was on the 8th floor and my view was basically the back of the Fairmont hotel. We can see pockets of the harbor but the room should of been 2-3 levels up to get a real view. Also they are building a new high-rise next door so my view was a big crane directly in front of my window. Also the construction noise woke us up early in the morning. I understand the hotel can't control the neighboring construction but to market and upsell my room with a harbor view is very misleading. I complained to the front desk to try to fix this but all they said was "This is what you paid for" In my opinion, that is what I was marketed, but not what I expected, false advertising. In addition the room was a little dated. The carpet was folding in the living room and my 2yr old actually tripped on it.

Location of property was convenient downtown close to food and shopping

Was not as clean as expected. Was not as spacious as expected. Only valet parking at a cost. Breakfast was not good. Service was less than adequate. Found dirt bandaids and used latex gloves in the room . Not cleaned adequately.

The room was comfortable with a good view from the balcony.

Parking was valet and too expensive and there was construction going on next door during the duration of our stay so getting around the work zone was an issue.
