location is near two national parks and it's not far from le Malbaie.

We share one house with the owner, so sometimes we can hear the sound from their side. But it doesn't really bother us.

Owners are pretty flexible with check in, great communication. Nice little place all for yourself.

The room was small and basic but had a comfy bed.

We don't speak French and we didn't feel welcomed. We were very tired and starving once we got there after a long hike. It was Sunday evening and the nearest super market was 12km away, so we just asked if we can have some bread or at least use the kitchen to cook the noodles we had. The husband was very nice and offerred us cheese and egg and some bread but the wife started putting them back yelling at him saying that she is very tired. It felt really bad. Then they turned off all the lights and 8 pm and went upstairs. We didn't eat anything that night which is fine, but we just felt very unwelcomed. The breakfast was very very basic , with cold hard boiled eggs, bagels, toasts, philadelphia cheese and jam. At breakfast, they were 4 other French speaking guests. The hosts and the guests were all chatting totally ignoring us just like we don't exist there.
