I stayed on the 3rd floor and it's uncomfortably old. They should renovate it like the 2nd floor which is very comfortably beautiful

Stayed here before and it was quite pleasant as the location is right on the water with a boardwalk! Had asked for the same room as last year and that request was fulfilled!
Sent a date change request one full day b4 arrival advising them I would be leaving one day earlier! upon check-in the reception desk knew nothing about this! I paid the full amount of close to $1000! After several messages and only a response that Booking.com had to call them and nothing else I am still waiting for an answer! The date change request was made on July 22/22! The place itself seems to be rundown in many different areas or the upkeep is lacking! For a business this size you would think the reception desk staff would be better informed as to updates to any/all bookings! Do not think a refund will be showing up anytime soon!

The location is superb.
General state of disrepair, feels like it’s seen better days. Having booked with booking.com on a non-refundable tariff I faced substantial extra cost when I needed to change the dates of my stay. I arrived one day earlier than planned and left one day earlier. In effect I stayed for exactly the same time but had to pay for the extra day at the start and had no refund for my early departure. This is unfair and will lead to me doubting whether to use booking.com again. The restaurant served a plate of batter and chips with NO fish in the batter whatsoever - a total rip off.

Bathroom was newly renovated. There was an Ocean View. Parking outside the room on the ground floor. Staff did not have anything to give Guest with mosquitoes that got into the room.
The beds were ok but I kept sliding off the sides of the bed. Could not sleep all night comfortably. I keep sliding off the sides. Only two coffee pods per day for two people. When we asked at the front desk for more coffee puds we were told the they were $2.50 each plus tax. While the room was clean the Coffee maker was fillty. My wife refused to use it. As guests at the hotel there were no discounts at the Restaurant. One slice of Cheese cake was $8.00 plus tax (15%), a little too much for our budget. Not enough plugs for phone charges etc. Some wholes in the walls as the renovations was on going.

I like that we can park in front of our room and the view is priceless!!! Easy access to the beach. The restaurant @bistro7 is excellent. The food is excellent, even the servers EXCEPT the hostess (young one with blonde hair). She's rude, doesn't know how to smile, doest apologize when something is missing, and act as if we don't know what we are talking about. The hotel staff are warm and friendly.
Missing small details like:some rooms doesn't have anything to hook for the towels, no exhaust fan inside the bathroom so it's hard to see my face in the mirror. Some rooms have hair dryer mounted on the wall, others, no enough space to put on your dryer while using it, other room doesn't have dryer at all. Not enough lights in the room, not enough electrical outlet. Second Floor Needs major updating.

Room finishes were not great, no plugs and no USB at the desk area nor anywhere else. Balcony is not private.
