The room was spacious and the inclusion of some crockery and cutlery made an added bonus. The manager was very helpful and efficient. The hotel is well located and there were some nice touches, the owner did not make any excuses due to Covid, which was a bonus

Wij waren hier enkel op doorreis voor 1 nacht. De kamer (bedden, badkamer, zithoek) voldeed aan onze verwachting. De prijs/kwaliteit was goed.

Room was quiet, relatively comfortable. The manager cut us a nice break and gave us a first floor room for the price of a second floor room.
This is an old mom and pop style motel from the days before freeways, and had pretty "tired" and dreary furnishings, bedding, furniture, etc., although the bed itself was comfortable. There was a soft spot in a part of the floor where the wood flooring was apparently broken or water damaged beneath the carpet. The poor manager was completely overworked because he was unable to recruit housekeeping staff and had to do everything himself. There is no breakfast provided.

The location was fine as part of our road trip out from Vancouver.The motel was easy to find and close to a very friendly restaurant.Good to be able to park right outside our room.
Main problem was the lack of a kettle to make a cup of tea. All of the motels and hotels provide a coffee machine but as we prefer tea we need a kettle ! Also sachets of milk (not cream) would be appreciated.

The Park Motel is very convenient to everything in Hope including grocery store and city park. The room was comfortable and clean. Parking was convenient and off-street.
Our room was upstairs over the office and the stairway railings were all loose. It didn't cause a problem for us, but didn't give a good impression and could be an issue for someone who needed to rely on the railing for support. The staff person who checked us in was OK, but not particularly friendly.

location was very convenient and central to parks, cafes, restaurants, pharmacy, liquor store, grocery stores, etc.
outside the motel was looking a bit run down in some places ... i.e. wooden part of railing has peeling paint and needs some upkeep.

I always stay here passing Hope on my way between the coast and The Kootenays. I've reviewed it before, a few years ago. It's not super luxurious but its always clean and well-maintained. (I am a retired resort manager. I appreciate a well looked-after property). Location is better, quieter, than the motels on the bypass strip. Price is reasonable and competitive with local comparables. It is comfortable and has a more homely, feel than many motels.

Easy check in and checkout. Clean room. Good location (away from highway, walkable to park, restaurants, and grocery store)

Quick and easy check-in/out, affordable, and clean. Our room was more spacious than expected. This was a perfectly fine place for an overnight stop.
Didn't look super inviting from the outside - we arrived at night, and the the motel is tucked toward the alley and the signage is broken. The rooms were in better shape than we expected based on our arrival.

The reception staff were very welcoming and even upgraded us to a nicer room. Room was clean, new, and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

To be honest we drove around the hotel a few times. Looked fairly rundown and had some questionable characters hanging around, so we just kept going to the next town.

Young man at front desk was friendly, wanted to give us (family with kid) two rooms on the second floor which would have been nice. But then someone fdom the office in the back called him in, talked to him and we got two ground floor rooms at the end of the building, 30 and 32.
The heating was working
Room 32 was really smelly, like vomit was cleaned up halfheartedly with scented cleaner. The armchair had the stains to match, the other chairs were inly sligjtly better. One night with bathroom exhaust fan and window open didn't help with the smell.
The whole toilet is loose and rocks back and forth giving the impression it might fall over.
