check in was good and friendlyness of clerk

elevator and hallway and building inside smell like some kind of institution that is like a hospital or elderly home. i think they are using cheap detergents to clean the outside of commom areas. also the bed sheet had a stain on it like a bleach out stain, or transparent stain.

parking and cleanliness

breakfast was not great for people like me looking for a better choice of breakfast than bacon and some kind of processed cheese or eggs.

The bed was super hard and uncomfortable.

It was clean, yes, and breakfast filled our hungry tummies. The staff was polite and competent at using the video check-in robot. Breakfast staff kept things tidy and did their best.

The room had a strong smell of mold intermingling with a powerful masking perfume, which was not good since the windows didn't open, presumably ro deter anyone from ending it all in the russian-era pool, below. Queen beds sagged so much that two people in bed would inevitably roll towards each other, accelerating until they collided in the middle. There was no one behind the desk to greet us, just a video screen showing a guy who could only look above my head while he checked us in remotely. (Was the poor guy locked in a room somewhere? Why don't they let him out???) A machine scanned my passport and later spat out bits of paper and room keys. No need for an alarm clock as the garbage truck across the street would have put any rooster to shame. This was not the least costly hotel in the area.

Floors not mopped. Cheap press board furniture needs replaced, swollen from water damage. Mysterious stains on all walls and very bad painting patch work
