The hotel was close to most of the major grocery stores as well as restaurants, that was good.

The room was dirty to the bathroom to the bedroom, it was also very disappointing that I couldn’t have an extended day without a “weeks notice”, which doesn’t make sense, but I digress.

They knew my situation, the condo that I had rented, fell through, so instead of staying 1.5 weeks, like I originally thought, we ended up being there four weeks and every day they asked me for money.!!! Even after I paid $1,000 when I got there and then two weeks later, paid another $1,500!!! I parked one spot into the kambuto parking lot, right beside the hotel( the parking lot is connected) and it cost me $250, the manager could have called the owner of the Kabuto and said I was staying at the hotel, but she did not do that for me. Not one time in a month did they offer to clean my room, not one time did they offer to bring me any clean towels. The decor has been the same for 25 years. I will never ever go back to that hotel

The bed was comfortable.

There were a lot of updates that needed to be made. Especially in the bathroom. The bathtub and baseboards were so wore out they looked dirty. They were overbooked so the room I booked was not available and they didn't have my rooms with two beds. They double charged my card. O really I would not recommend this hotel.

I didn’t like how she tired to run my card more than 5 times got my card lock than told us we couldn’t not have music and they play music in another room all nite into the moring

Location was convenient to I-77 , the room we eventually got was clean and comfortable , comfortable bed , the area was quiet with security a plus and we were overall pleased with the overnight stay . The room was suited for longer stays having a small kitchenette with dishwasher available however we did not use this amenity but it is a plus for those who stay in the area . Overall a good choice for an overnighter if one isn’t concerned about new furnishings.

The facilities need upgrading but the room was clean and comfortable. Overnight desk clerk was polite but not particularly friendly . We were assigned to a room , carried our overnight bags to a room that was not prepped for the stay so we went back down three floors to the desk where the clerk assigned us a new room , no apology , just an acknowledgment and a quick change of room key codes . One point , we booked the room with a request for a bottom floor room because we are elderly and we’re traveling with a small pet (which we paid extra ) that was granted by Candlelight and confirmed by Booking . Com via e mail . Upon arrival we were told there were no 1st floor rooms available for overnight stays which would have changed our decision to book this hotel . There was an elevator however we feel that the first floor option should have been pointed out prior so we could have booked a different hotel that could accommodate. Lack of communication won’t hurt our opinion of the stay but perhaps we may look closer at using a different booking service .
