The rooms at the Super 8 were surprisingly very spacious. Rooms were clean and bathroom spacious as well.

There was only one chair in the room... It would have been better to either put in a small sofa or an extra chair so that a couple can sit in it to watch tv or eat a meal.

Staff knocking at 10pm to get our car move, and at 8am while we are still asleep housekeeper knock by mistake “sorry wrong room!” And double charge to my account.

Rooms were clean Coffee accommodation was for one person in a two bed room.

Parking was horrible. Compact parking spots seemed to be saved for staff and staff family.

Room was very nice and clean. larger than I thought it would be. Desk man was very nice and helpful.

no breakfast no maid service. Had to ask to have garbage removed. The barest of accomadations but priced accordingly.

The young man at the front desk had a snotty arrogant attitude and argued with every concern or request we had.

The two-bedroom King suite was quite modern and spacious, the beds were comfortable. I would have left a much higher rating if it wasn't for the price. Good to know as it's not clearly described: a two-bedroom King suite is a big room with 2 king beds separated by bifold doors, and the two parts of the room share a bathroom accessible from both sides.

I would have left a higher rating if we hadn't paid $380 for a two-bedroom suite in a motel. The room was fine in itself, but when you pay this kind of money, you expect something close to perfection. The first big minus was shoe prints on the white comforter, and ink (pen?) marks on the sheets. But at least they changed the sheets after we told them. Everything else was rather clean. For the rest, it's all in the details: no pressure in the shower (and the shower head was too low, all of which made it quite difficult to wash ny hair), noisy heater, the hotel is on a busy road so we could hear the motorcycles roar by, we could hear the people above us walking and dumping things on the floor... Again, it would have been fine it was maybe $200 a night... wouldn't have complained. But not $380. It's ridiculous to have people pay this amount of money (no breakfast included!!) for a room in a motel that is no better than a lot of other motels which are a lot cheaper. I know it's Monterey though, and this hotel is not an isolated case unfortunately...

noise from plumbing. But mostly it was dirty. I had to clean the sink before using it. same thing with the shower. there was hair in the sunk, bathtub and on the bathroom walls. the floor was so dirty, under my feet turned black within hours. I had to first clean the bathtub so I can wash my feet. the room is pretty small for the price.

Our first experience at an INN type accommodation. It absolutely exceeded our expectations. In a nice environment, clean, well-equipped, quiet, elegantly furnished rooms. We are happy with the choice. The city center is 2-3 minutes away by car, where there are many restaurants and cafes.

Bed was comfy, bathrooms were updated, modern and clean.

Pressure flush Toilets are LOUD. You would not want to flush them at night or you will wake up others in the room.

even though it was refurbished it was not worth $220/night staff thought they were doing us a biggg favor giving us extra towels or answering any questions washer dryer cost of $4.00 each big f’n ripoff would not stay at any of those places again even if it means driving a 1/2 hour away blah blah blah
