Location was choice.

Room had pillows that smelled like sweat and body odor; mattresses my 11 year old even agreed were unusable; a moldy bathtub and disgusting 1980's era smoke yellowed telephone. The remote was covered in what I really hope was donut glaze. The bathroom door didn't latch. The curtains were torn. There was no coffee maker or hair dryer. The ice bucket was found to be the source of some salty mystery in the water and the worst part is that the owners just didn't seem to care because the location pretty much guarantees business no matter how poor every aspect of the stay ends up. It was like going to somebody's house you should've been warned about ahead of time. I'm not rich. I don't have a luxury car or an executive position at work. I'm just a normal guy who spent way too much for my family to be horrified by the conditions of this Motel 6. We well never stay here again.

they gave me towels with poop stains, I had a non smoking room but yet had cigarette burns in covers. mold all over the tub!

How convenient it was to places.

I didn’t like the fact it wasn’t clean clean, there was black hair in the bath tub & drain, the sink didn’t drain and the water in the shower dripped. No way we could take a shower so we had to sit down and use a cup to rinse off.

For the price and with short notice, can't complain at all. Not the best of places but it was do-able!

It was not too expensive

The room had no acoustic isolation at all. it was very noisy from the outside and from the next door room. The hotel is located at the end of an airport runway so it was very noisy from there as well.

I liked the staff and management. They went above and beyond to be helpful during our stay. If you are looking for affordable lodging in Monterey this is a good property.
